Welcome to the 366th Annual Convention of Curses – held at Ancient Egypt this year. Practitioners of the dark arts have reunited in this bazaar of exotic oddities, peddling their skills and enchantments for any willing buyer.

About this Scare Zone
Convention of Curses is in a few words, highly entertaining and more fun than scary. It can definitely be described as an upgrade of Bizarre Bazaar. While the nice canopy is gone, the Convention is a lot larger and didn’t have any crowd issues that were very problematic last year.

It is certainly an international convention – we have wizards and witches from all over the world, and a lot more props than scattered coffins and body parts this time (The keen-eyed might recognize minor similarities from last year’s bazaar) Not to mention actually interesting stalls to visit and very strange scare actors to meet. It’s a perfect venue to take (free) photos and interact with the scare actors.

A few steps into the fog and you’ll encounter some mischievous goblins – hoping to pull a few fast tricks and hexes.

The Raven Queen

The gorgeous Raven Queen presides over the Coven Celebration(s), which occurs several times each night. As a powerful goddess, she is intensely worshiped by the Goblins and other attendees roaming around Ancient Egypt, so do not cross her.

Before the Coven Celebration, there will be a fire acrobatic performance. Yanika and Hiro are back again at Ancient Egypt!

The real ritual is a three-part performance: a ritual dance, a sacrifice, and a full flash-mob number at the end. Watch it now:

There are two schools of magic here (sounds like Hogwarts) but it seems to be competing factions from the Blackart School of Witchcraft and Black Magic.

I hope you enjoyed the features and photo tours of Halloween Horror Nights 3! This is the last entry of the HHN3 Event Coverage series. I had a great time covering HHN3 in great detail.

I would like to once again thank Resorts World Sentosa for inviting Dejiki.com to the media preview. That one night gave me to opportunity to document many incredible aspects of the event. It has also significantly helped plan my other photoshoot trips to the park.

Actually, it has been very tiring coming up with all these features – really, people visit the park for fun and I’m there taking photos, for all of you! I guess it’s worth it when readers totally love the HHN series (once again, the response was incredible!). It’s also nice to have the hard work and amazing talents of the Singapore HHN team are properly recognized.

    Hey Dejiki! My bf and I went last Saturday, 26th Oct, and everything went so awesome. And it’s all thanks to your posts! Your dedication in updating on the events and thinking of a strategy is simply awesome.

    If it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t have finished all THREE haunted houses at 9pm (finished first 2 at 8.30).

    The only thing that got us SO caught off guard was how everyone SPRINTED to Possessions haunted house and the jumping of queues. Yes, we did run as well but we were SO early that even the scare zone was empty. But the sprinting part? Really people REALLY? -.-

    Anyway, keep the blog going! Both my bf & I had an awesome time and wo this blog, we would not have gotten our money’s worth!
