Note: If you are at the park early (watching Opening Scaremony show which starts at around 7:25-7:30PM), the pathway leading to New York may be blocked for a short time. You will be diverted towards the other end of the park, reaching Operation: Dead Force and The Hunt for Pontianak first.
HHN10 Haunted House ‘No Express Pass’ Strategy
There are only 3 houses this year, so there’s no need for a detailed strategy guide.
The simple strategy to complete all houses if you are in the lead (diverted to Far Far Away) would be:
Operation: Dead Force ➜ Hospitality of Horror ➜ Killustrator: The Final Chapter
(alternatively, head to Hospitality of Horror first)

For most nights, the houses with the highest wait times are Hospitality of Horror, and Operation: Dead Force.

Haunted Houses are walkthrough attractions in enclosed, ‘maze-like’ spaces. This year’s house line-up promises all-new horrors:
Killustrator: The Final Chapter
Step into the world of the horror-obsessed Killustrator, only to be ensnared in his terrifying recreations, drawn from his favourite moments out of past Halloween Horror Nights events.
The Killustrator is known to be the biggest and bloodiest fan of HHN, and also a crazed artist creating new horror content for his fans. As this year’s icon, he will have his own Scaremony show called The Silenced Auction.

Operation: Dead Force
Explore a secret lab that has been preparing for a zombie apocalypse. Enlist into the Special Forces Against the Dead (S.F.A.D.) and become zombie hybrid, to help the world defend against zombies!

Summoned by the Horrorcle, the Dark Zodiac zone will shed the sinister side of all the astrological signs – including their leader, the 13th Zodiac sign.
The Hunt for Pontianak scare zone
Uncover the fates of influencers who were foolish enough to ‘capture’ the Pontianak while livestreaming in this haunted jungle.

Escape the Breakout! Laser Tag
The laser tag attraction is now a hybrid horror escape game at Sting Alley. Players will have to solve puzzles and escape from some of the world’s deadliest criminals.

Any idea why there isn’t any frequent fear this year?
Probably so that the park can manage its houses/ attractions capacity better.
Does the rip tour hold a laser tag spot if you decide to purchase it or do you have to rush to buy it night of?
The 20% Voucher is redeemable on the event night itself, so you should be able to book a slot during your RIP Tour.
Hi Dejiki, do you know if there would be a show at the pantages theatre for this year’s HHN?
I’m also very curious as to how they will run the RIP tour this year with the die-ning with the dead experience.

There’s no show in Pantages Hollywood Theater during HHN.
RIP Tour guests may pick from a few dining timeslots for DIE-ning with the Dead, either as the first part of the tour (before touring the houses and zones) or midway during the tour.

Aiya wasted.. I’ve always enjoyed past years’ shows like Dead Talks and Skin & Bones.. Then the RIP tour got photo op at the theatre also.. Let’s hope the special experiences this year can make up for the lack of a theatre show =)
I always go for the RIP Tour but this year’s pricing is insane. Almost $300 is truly ridiculous. 🙄
Does the RIP tour express pass unlimited include attractions or just haunted houses? If just haunted houses, then we have to buy add ons?
The HHN Express Unlimited can be used at the 3 haunted houses and 6 rides that will be open during HHN.

HHN10 opening hours and admission ticket prices differ for peak and non-peak dates.
Hi! Means that if I want to experience standard attractions, I need to buy Day Pass separately from HHN10?
If you mean visiting the park’s regular line-up of rides in the day (11AM to 6PM), then you would need to get a day ticket for that. Otherwise, the 6 attractions listed here will be open from 7:30PM till park closing time during HHN10 event nights, and is included in HHN10 admission.
Are there some rides open on top of the 6 attractions on HHN10 event nights?

I only see the add ons for Express and Express Plus available for purchase, is there any way to purchase the Express Unlimited with a normal HHN ticket as I am not interested in the RIP Tour.
No, the HHN Express Unlimited is available exclusively as part of the RIP Tour package. If you wish to, you can forfeit other RIP Tour entitlements and the guided tour experience (i.e. deserting your tour group and be an independent guest with HHN Express Unlimited).
Hi Dejiki, what would “ 5PM Early Park Entry” entail? Does it mean that we would get to experience the houses earlier, or does it mean that we can only experience the day rides from 5-7:30? Thanks 🙂
You may enter the park at 5PM, but the park’s day operations will end at 6PM, and you will be guided into a waiting area from then onwards.
HHN10 attractions will only start after the Opening Scaremony show at 7:30PM
Hello! I have a few questions for HHN10 (RIP Tour).
1) For the 6.30pm Special Experience: Die-ning with the Dead, will we be heading in for dinner first at that time and is the meal included with my pass?
2) Is it more worth booking the 6.30pm RIP Tour instead of 7.30pm?
3) For unlimited express pass, how long will the queue be for Saturdays? Example Revenge of the mummy ride.
4) Overall, is the RIP Tour worth it? If you are a HHN enthusiast? I saw your video on the whole RIP Tour 2019 and I like the tour guide’s explanations and jokes as she brought you around.

1. At the time of booking, you will have to choose your tour start time, which affects your dining time. Yes, the food is included with your RIP Tour ticket. Here’s the schedule:
Tour starts at 6:30PM / DIE-ning starts at 6:30PM
Tour starts at 7:30PM / DIE-ning starts at 7:45PM
Tour starts at 8:00PM / DIE-ning starts at 9:00PM
2. I would recommend either the 6:30PM or 7:30PM, as you will be able to watch the Opening Scaremony show from the VIP area. Technically the 6:30PM will offer you more “HHN park time” as your tour would conclude earlier, then you can go Free & Easy and use the Unlimited Express Pass as you wish until the park closes.
3. Queue times are dependent on crowd conditions and other factors. Typically, the Express line has manageable waiting time (typically 10-20 mins or less if the normal queue is 1-2 hours long) from my experience. During your RIP Tour, you will have VIP Access to the attractions, which has almost no wait and the shortest possible walking distance.
4. Yes, I have attended RIP Tour for all 9 past editions, and it has always been worth it. The Tour Guide assigned to your group may not explain everything to the same level as the one in my YouTube videos, but they will still bring you through all the haunted houses and rides via VIP Access.

I’m new to HHN and going for HHN 10 on the 14th of October, I’d like to know how long the queues for the houses usually are and when I should start lining up to enter USS
Based on what typically happens in past events on Friday nights, wait times could fluctuate from 30 to 200+ minutes per house. Typically, the park gates open at 7PM but everyone will need to stay in the holding area within Hollywood until the event officially opens after 7:30PM.
Do you think it’s possible to complete all the house in one night? If not which ones would you recommend I do?
On most days, it is possible to complete all houses within one night if you arrive at the park early (around 7PM+) and stay on until the park closes. Otherwise, as a last resort you can also buy Express Passes at the park if the queues are all hours-long
Sorry to disturb but May I ask if one is able to take video recordings in the scarezones and or houses? Asking this cause I have scene some snippets being found online and I was wondering if anyone can just film.

Photography and video recording are not allowed in haunted houses at all, except for those who have been granted permission from Universal Studios Singapore.
You can take photos and videos in the scare zones.

Are there set/advertised times for the Resurrection show in the Dark Zodiac zone?
Show times will be displayed on the board beside the New York Library stage.
It is typically scheduled to happen 3 times nightly. During my visits on the first weekend, The Resurrection show started at 7:40PM, 9:00PM and 10:30PM.

There are no free-dated tickets this year. Check your e-Ticket as it would mention the date that it is valid on.

Yes, HHN10 is only held on the dates that are marked in orange and red.

You will still be able to buy Express Passes on the day itself from various locations in the park. You can enquire at Guest Services Lobby or the Universal Studios Store. The prices will vary depending on demand and remaining stock.

Park turnstiles open from 7PM (depending on crowd) and the HHN10 attractions open after 7:30PM.
Can you still attend the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal studios Singapore even though you are still 12 years old and is turning 13 next month ?
There is no age requirement for Halloween Horror Nights, though minors should attend the event with a supervising adult.
Do note that the event is rated Advisory 16 (Horror Theme)
