Welcome to Domains of Fear – a series of features offering extended coverage on Halloween Horror Nights 2 at Universal Studios Singapore (USS), Resorts World at Sentosa. These feature articles complement the Halloween Horror Nights 2 review.
Each entry will focus a specific element of Halloween Horror Nights 2 (HHN2). For this issue, we will step into The Puppet Master’s House of Dolls, the first scare zone at HHN2.

Enter if you dare, for all is not what it seems. Brace yourself as you step into the shadows of The Puppet Master’s sinister factory, and watch as he creates his twisted world of imaginary friends.

House of Dolls
The first scene in the House of Dolls is toy store. As you step inside, have a look at the two large cabinets – both filled with twisted toys.
In the middle – the store counter at the House of Dolls, stocking Custom Made Toys. Over here, a few dolls may appear, welcoming you to the Puppet Master’s twisted abode.
Do you have an appointment with The Puppet Master?
Moving on further: The Puppet Master’s workshop. Many dolls can be found here, so watch out for: the Twins, Ballerina, Wind-up Doll, Ragdoll, Male doll (bald), Rolly-Polly doll and many other twisted toys.
Next, we visit the Puppet Master’s study.
The one that got away
Littered with books, sketches and notes on anatomical studies, this room reflects the Puppet Master’s clear obsession for crafting perfect dolls.
A creepy painting lies at the corner of his study. Could this be a portrait of his past: a social outcast, scarred by a terrible war and the loss of his family?
The next section of the workshop shows a gruesome set with body parts, spinning gears and a stitched puppet. With the Puppet Master’s handpicked parts, he produced a puppet that bows endlessly, with no strings attached…
In this other room, the iconic zipper face girl takes charge of materials and templates for handcrafted “living” dolls. Despite her cheerful and bubbly appearance, this dollface has terrible secrets behind her spliced head.
She is also entrusted with the important task of taking measurements of the Puppet Master’s victims. Stay too long here, and there might have a doll carved to your frightful visage.
Next, we finally meet the Puppet Master. While he performs a puppet show, he strings up the latest victims and turns them into dolls… temporarily.
