HHN12 Scare zones
Nether-Land scare zone
In New York, the undead rave party experience, Nether-Land, is arriving very soon.
The line-up at Nether-Land include DJ DeadBeatz, DJ N-Trance, and DJ Elixir.
Along the streets are 4 small stages, along with props that should be able to be moved around. This setup allows Rhythm Truck to drive through New York during its shows in the day.
One of the three HHN12 shows, Ocu.lar’s Rave, will take place at the main stage in Nether-Land.
Vampire Alley scare zone
Vampire Alley will make full use of the Sting Alley and New York Harbor area, with the entrance at New York, adjacent to the Nether-Land scare zone.
From the scenic design, there appears to be a richer story for this zone, unlike the previous Attack of the Vampires zone in 2013. Sisters of the Sun is one of the factions in Vampire Alley, while another previously announced group, The Elders, run the Viper Lounge that is being offered as a Special Experience (add-on charge applies).
The entire Sting Alley is blocked out during the day, with several of these fences which should create a maze-like environment. It is likely that the Speakeasy Bar entrance is somewhere along this alley or near this junction at the Harbor, as logically it needs to be one of the doors to the building where the Viper Lounge is set up (at KT’s Grill), and not further away.
The rest of the scare zone has more giant containers, fences, which block the way forward and would likely make for intense scares and surprises.
The zone ends off with this standoff-like space with a platform.
From across the lagoon, we can see how the entire zone is masked out with colourful tarps.
The Lost Kampung scare zone
Return to another haunted village as you step inside The Lost Kampung.
It looks like this scare zone will once again take advantage of Jurassic Park’s dark jungle setting – and it has been very effective for the past zones staged here.
In the day, all of the horrifying props are tucked away, although you could still spot some through the fences.
Towards the splashdown area of Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, there are even more maze walls and barriers, possibly to guide and misdirect you as you make your way around the cursed village.
HHN12 Haunted Houses
Under The Castle by TEAM WANG design
One of the headliners this year is Under The Castle, created in collaboration with Jackson Wang and TEAM WANG design. Unlike the original concept which was more of a lifestyle event, this haunted castle will have a darker, horror twist.
Your journey will begin at an area with several stalls and carts filled with smashed pumpkins. Plus flags with TEAM WANG design’s logo.
Parts of the castle can be seen towering outside.
Netflix’s Sweet Home
The entrance to Sweet Home haunted house wasn’t ready during my visit, but now you can see from outside the park, the show building is getting the same Netflix treatment like All of Us Are Dead and Stranger Things. As this haunted house will be open earlier for guests with eligible tickets, it looks like the building will be completely light-sealed, compared to past houses.
Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness
Nothing much to see for the Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness as the jinxed parchments are currently sealed within Soundstage 28 – apart from the classic haunted house entrance setup for Soundstage houses.
Singapore’s Most Haunted: The Killings
Be prepared to enter the infamous haunted house at Singapore’s Most Haunted: The Killings, of which you can already glimpse a part of it even within Jurassic Park.
Other changes for HHN12 shows
The Dark Dreams show is happening at Pantages Hollywood Theater during Halloween Horror Nights. As the Trolls Hug Time Jubilee is shown in the day, the entire Theater has been modified with colourful props removed, making the space look less Trolls-specific. This also includes clearing up the giant rainbow backdrop in the foyer.
Over at Hollywood, there is a new stage with three video walls, which could possibly resemble the one used at The Silenced Auction, showing three big letters of “HHN”.
As predicted earlier, the Night Terrors is happening at Far Far Away castle, and numerous projectors can be found lined up at the castle walls.

Based on the HHN12 announcements and my own findings, I have now completed the Park Map for Halloween Horror Nights 12:
HHN12 Merchandise
Before I get to the official HHN12 merchandise, I would like to announce that that Lil Boo Sipper from Universal Orlando has arrived at Universal Studios Singapore.
While only Universal Studios Japan has a Chucky haunted house, you can bring home your own Good Guy… if you dare.
The Chucky Popcorn Bucket ($48) is also an interactive toy. He responds to his name, and can move his eyes (which also glow) and of course, talk back to you. Wanna Play?
Together with the Chucky popcorn bucket, you can grab other Halloween Horror Nights-branded merchandise at Universal Studios Store during this HHN12 season.
New items include this HHN12 Colour-changing Mug ($22) that’s shaped like a cauldron, the HHN12 sipper cup with cupholder and sling strap ($25), and the HHN12 retractable lanyard pass holder ($12). Good ways to use the retail voucher that came with your ticket.
The other side of the HHN12 retail display is currently stocking generic Halloween items.
Update: Costumes allowed at USS Halloween Horror Nights 12 on selected nights only
Guests are allowed to wear costumes on HHN12 event nights on 30 and 31 October 2024 only. All costumes must comply to the Costume Policy and Guidelines (scroll down on this page) set by RWS and Universal Studios Singapore. Costumes are not allowed on all other HHN12 event nights.

It does look like HHN is returning back to pre Covid days. Personally felt like the last 2 events were somewhat muted!
