HHN14 RIP Tour Review: Blood-Red Carpet to the Cursed Collection

With VIP shortcuts into every haunted house and an optimised route planned for you, the HHN14 RIP Tour remains the easiest way to take on the Cursed Collection. Here’s my review of the 2026 HHN VIP Tour experience.
Halloween Horror Nights 14 RIP Tour Review
The RIP Tour is Halloween Horror Nights’ guided VIP experience at Universal Studios Singapore. For three hours, a guide leads your small group around the event, using shortcuts into all 4 haunted houses so you spend the night inside the scares instead of queuing outside them.
On top of priority access to haunted houses, you get front-row priority viewing at Scaremony, reserved seats for Club PanDEMONium, and a retail merchandise gift that changes through the season. In the early weeks, guests have received either the Kia Si Amulet keychain or foldable fan.
As for the tour itself, your guide plans an optimised route around the park, so all you need to do is keep up.
Is the HHN14 RIP Tour worth it?
At S$290, this is the priciest way to experience HHN14, so it helps to be clear on what you’re paying for. For me, it comes down to convenience and comfort. In three hours, the tour covers Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection, Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors, Singapore’s Most Haunted: On Air and Made in Hell: XL Robotics with virtually no waiting, plus Scaremony from the very front and saved seats at Club PanDEMONium. The Raveyard and Necropolis: The Serpent’s Crossroads may come up along the way, or you can return to them after the tour.
The return of the Frequent Fear Pass offers a fair alternative this year. If you can come back on several quieter nights, you could get through everything without the RIP Tour premium. But if HHN14 is a one-and-done thing for you, RIP Tour is still the option I’d suggest. Once the tour ends, your Express Unlimited wristband keeps working at the haunted houses and participating rides, and it isn’t sold separately. Depending on your tour slot, that gives you roughly one to two hours of unlimited Express before the park closes at 12:30AM.
Book the HHN14 RIP Tour on Klook to lock in your preferred tour slot, or jump to the full package details.
Note: This review is based on a self-paid RIP Tour.

HHN14 RIP Tour (VIP Tour) Highlights
The VIP Reception
No surprises on arrival this year. The VIP Reception is in the same spot as 2025, just inside Universal Studios Singapore. Head for the gantries on the extreme right of the park entrance, where you’ll find the RIP Tour sign and guides waiting to bring you in.
The park turnstiles start accepting RIP Tour guests from 6:30PM, and registration outside the VIP Reception opens at the same time. It pays to arrive early, so you have some time to settle down and receive your wristbands, lanyards and HHN merch gift.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll get a card showing your tour group number and your guide’s name. Step inside the VIP Reception for some refreshments while you wait for your group to be called.
The RIP Tour Guide
Your guide for the night is your surgeon, the nickname RIP Tour Guides go by. Groups are capped at 12 guests, which keeps things small enough for everyone to move quickly between attractions.
Between houses, expect stories and fun facts about the Universal Studios parks and unexpected interactions you won’t see coming. Your surgeon also has an uncanny sense of timing, steering the group into Roaming Horror sightings along the way, including the viral Fatimah Rockers.
HHN14 Exclusive RIP Tour Lanyard and Credential
The HHN14 RIP lanyard and credential are keepsakes in their own right, and this year both take their design from the Karang Guni man. A neat addition for anyone who collects them each season – I have all 14 of them.
VIP Priority Access to Scaremony
The Scaremony opens each night of HHN14 at the Hollywood outdoor stage, as a group of streamers breaks into an abandoned warehouse and sets loose the evil that haunts the park. RIP Tour guests watch it from VIP Priority Access, the most front row of them all. Every RIP Tour timeslot includes it, whether you booked 7:30PM, 8PM or 8:30PM.
RIP Guests also have a dedicated pathway to their Priority Access area, so no jostling crowds to get there.
Direct VIP Access to all Haunted Houses and Attractions
During the tour, your surgeon leads the group using shortcuts into the haunted houses and attractions that stay closed to everyone else. Less time queuing and walking means three hours goes a lot further than it would on a regular ticket.
On my night, the regular queues were fairly short, below 100 minutes, but the RIP route still saved us from waiting at all, or from walking the full length of the normal queue, which can still be quite a distance.
Strut past the regular queue on dedicated VIP routes at selected attractions, and be the envy of everyone still queuing.
The VIP access even extends to Canopy Flyer, which isn’t covered by any other type of Express Pass during HHN14.
Flexible use of S$25 Meal Vouchers
Your S$25 in meal vouchers comes split into S$10, S$10 and S$5, so it’s easy to spread across a meal and a snack or two. They work at participating restaurants and carts around the park, and the package’s 10% discount applies to F&B as well, though it can’t be combined with the meal vouchers.
The Skull and Shroom Truffle Pizza at Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor comes as a combo with the Hellfire Cheese Meatball and a drink for $25, an easy way to use up all your meal vouchers in one go. This is also my personal favourite.
10% Off Merchandise Park-wide
RIP Tour guests enjoy 10% off at retail stores park-wide, including UNIVRS, home to this year’s HamiKuma collection. There’s a sweetener for HamiKuma fans too. Buy any HamiKuma product and you’ll receive a free HHN13 souvenir, either a lanyard or a sipper cup.
Reserved Seating Area for Club PanDEMONium
When it’s time to face KHAOS at Club PanDEMONium, your seats are already waiting. RIP Tour guests get reserved seating in the best central section of Pantages Hollywood Theater, an area closed to other guests during popular show times.
Halloween Horror Nights Express Unlimited
When the guided tour wraps up, your Halloween Horror Nights Express Unlimited wristband takes over. It gives you unlimited use of the Universal Express Lane at participating attractions for the rest of the night, so you can head back for another round at your favourite house. Since this entitlement isn’t sold separately, the RIP Tour is the only way to get it.
The regular HHN Express and Express PLUS Passes, by comparison, allow one use per participating attraction.
Private Meet and Greet with an HHN14 Icon
This year’s meet and greet takes place in a private venue at Far Far Away, reserved for RIP Tour guests. Instead of standing below a stage, you get to stand right beside the icon for your photo.
A 6R printed photo of the moment is included, ready for collection at The Dark Room retail store before you leave the park.
How to book HHN14 RIP Tour?
HHN14 runs until 1 November, which leaves only a handful of event nights to take on the Cursed Collection as an RIP guest.
