USS Halloween Horror Nights 14 Before Dark 2: HHN14 Merch now available, haunted house gateways and more

It’s the final week before the opening night of Halloween Horror Nights 14, and the park is quickly putting together the final pieces. HHN14 merchandise has landed, haunted house gateways are up, and the HHN entrance medallion signals the season is upon us.

Halloween Horror Nights 14 at Universal Studios Singapore starts from 25 September 2026, and you can get your HHN14 tickets now from Klook and learn more about the upcoming horrors in my HHN14 Event Guide.

Also happening during Halloween season is the park’s family friendly day Halloween event, Trick or Thrills 2026, from 1 Sep to 1 Nov 2026.

After years of rectangular signs at the Universal Studios Singapore’s entrance arch, we finally have a round event medallion for Halloween Horror Nights.

This makes us feel like we’re in Universal Studios Florida for a moment.

Scaremony stage

Nothing major changes here, but that’s likely because the Scaremony stage has been ready for weeks. The horrors are tightly wrapped up with Minion decor, for now.

The Raveyard scare zone at New York

Part 1 caught The Raveyard mid-construction, where most of the decor was on the stage and under the street canopy.

It now feels more fleshed out – with new banners and two “trees” on the street.

Presenting the stars of The Raveyard: HamiKuma and Ponti-Ana.

Plus the Fatimah Rockers and Scare Bears. These are likely the acts for Nail The Beat show.

Back on the street level, there are two “trees”, with graves and grotesque faces emerging out.

One of these trees might be a scare actor hiding spot, while the other had some photo printing supplies hidden within – it might be a photo booth.

Though this also means that the street is really quite bare, unlike in the past where there are large props and sets making the street rather busy. Perhaps a strategic change for this year, given that the show would be the big highlight, and the scare zone also has a haunted house entrance.

First night look: The Raveyard during Trick or Thrills (Night)

With Trick or Thrills running in the day, the park stays open into the evening, giving an early look at how The Raveyard looks once the lights come on. This is ahead of HHN14 proper, and it’s likely the zone will have a very different feel during Horror Nights.

Necropolis: The Serpent’s Crossroads scare zone at Ancient Egypt

Oddly, there’s nothing on the streets of Ancient Egypt. The wall carvings look freshly refurbished, but otherwise the zone feels bare, almost as if the real theming is still in storage, wheeled out only once the sun goes down.

Or maybe there just isn’t much else to add. The hoarding still up around parts of the area suggests otherwise: staging space for something, whether that’s props waiting for their cue, or the equipment for projections that will bring these walls to life after dark.

Made in Hell: XL Robotics

Singapore’s Most Haunted: ON AIR

The gateway for Singapore’s Most Haunted: ON AIR leans into its broadcast-studio premise, with film reels unravelling haphazardly all over the entrance scaffolds, and the oversized ‘ON AIR’ marquee.

Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors

Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors has taken shape at the Revenge of the Mummy queue, with elements from a vaudeville stage, complete with velvet curtains.

While this haunted house has the smallest space to work with, in the past there were some very creative ideas executed here.

It’s also one of the rare houses where you can experience the set design even from the queue itself. Here’s a sneak peek over the gates.

Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection

And then there’s Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection – still under wraps, quite literally, hidden behind black cloth while the rest of the park has moved on to full reveals.

But of course, the house facade to the Karang Guni’s shop has always been visible for weeks.

HHN14 Merchandise is now available

The HHN14 merchandise collection launched 17 September and is now available around the park. At Universal Studio Store, you can find most items across HamiKuma, Ponti-Ana and the Kia Si series.

Both the Ponti-Ana and Kia Si items are part of the HHN14 Hyper Local line of goods.

New this year is the Kia Si Amulet Lanyard (S$18), Universal Studios Singapore’s version of the Deathly Afraid Lanyard/ Necklace. This lanyard, with a light-up card, will hopefully reduce the frights at the HHN14 scare zones. It offers no protection inside haunted houses.

The complete HamiKuma collection is also available at the Silver Screen Store at Hollywood.

The best place to shop this Halloween is actually at UNIVRS – it has the most complete collection.

Along with this year’s new additions, you can also buy last year’s merch: The foldable fan and sipper cup with tribal designs.

But since it’s 2026, it’s time to grab the HamiKuma stuff before they run out! This is the largest item, the HamiKuma Plush Backpack (S$65).

If you want something to wear everywhere around the park (except ride attractions), then grab the HamiKuma Plush Hat (S$35) or HamiKuma Plush Headband (S$35).

During my visit, the UNIVRS Store was also the only place with the Ponti-Ana Small Pouch (S$12) in stock.

At UNIVRS, you can also shop from the new Minion Monsters collection, featuring Monster Bob.
