In this 2026 HHN BEFORE DARK update, get your first look at the upcoming Halloween Horror Nights 14 construction and learn where all the new haunted houses and scare zones are at.

About Halloween Horror Nights 14: BEFORE DARK

BEFORE DARK is DEJIKI.COM’s original series documenting park news and construction updates on Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights events.

Halloween Horror Nights 14 at Universal Studios Singapore starts from 25 September 2026, and you can get your HHN14 tickets now from Klook and learn more about the upcoming horrors in my HHN14 Event Guide!

Also happening during Halloween season is the park’s family friendly day Halloween event, Trick or Thrills 2026 from 1 Sep to 1 Nov 2026.

During this park visit, I managed to get some confirmation on the houses location and plotted the full line-up on my HHN14 event map below.

Roaming Horror?

The HHN14 line-up also includes a Roaming Horror special experience where guests may encounter the Karang Guni man and Fatimah Rockers, though locations have not been announced. The sites marked on my map are my own predictions: These zones are the only park zones without a haunted house, scare zone or show this year, which makes them the most likely places for the roaming horrors to start from or pass through.

Some fans might remember that back in 2012, some of the patients broke out of the Insanitarium to roam around The Lost World area.

The Raveyard at New York

As always, New York carries the most visible transformation. The scare zone entrance has gone up across New York street, with a marquee anchoring the approach and wraiths already hung overhead.

The sound and lighting rig is already in place above the zone, likely to further amplify the heart-stopping audio for Nail The Beat show.

The stage for Nail the Beat is within The Raveyard scare zone itself.

This is where Ponti-Ana makes her debut, joined by HamiKuma in his first appearance at Universal Studios Singapore.

Singapore’s Most Haunted: ON AIR

The facade for Singapore’s Most Haunted: ON AIR has taken shape behind the sets at New York. This is a deserted broadcast studio left to ruin, but the show still went on.

Made in Hell: XL Robotics

Made in Hell: XL Robotics is set inside Soundstage 28, with the queue entrance between Hollywood and New York. This site has been used for past Chinese-themed haunted houses, where guests made a trip to classical Hell in DIYU: Descent Into Hell (2023), unravel the Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness (2024) or escape from multiple realities of The Unruly Immortals (2025).

Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection

Over at Jurassic Park, if you peek past the fence to the backstage area, you can spot a distinctive heritage shophouse. That is the Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection haunted house.

Necropolis: The Serpent’s Crossroads at Ancient Egypt

Ancient Egypt hosts Necropolis: The Serpent’s Crossroads.

Hoarding has gone up around Oasis Spice Cafe, which suggests the zone will extend through the area around it, or some prep work is being done to the walls of this area of Ancient Egypt. The last scare zone held here was Cannibal back in 2018.

Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors

Also at Ancient Egypt, Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors takes over the outdoor queue of the Revenge of the Mummy. Entrance would be beside the lockers of Battlestar Galactica.

Scaremony stage at Hollywood

The opening Scaremony show returns to Hollywood, and the set is already dressed.

During the day, it looks rather innocuous with the cute Minion jack-o-lantern and other adorable motifs. But by evening, all these will be stripped apart so that you may face the horrors of the night.

The warehouse detailing lines up with the premise announced for this year, where a group of thrill-seeking streamers break into an abandoned warehouse and unleash what is inside.

Centre stage, something sits covered. It is a chest of horrors that will release evil into the park, but now kept under wraps for your safety.

Waterworld queue closed for renovations

With all four haunted house sites accounted for, it is now clear that the Waterworld queue is not hosting a house this year. The venue has been a mainstay for haunted houses since HHN2 in 2012, but the entire queue structure has been hoarded up for renovations.
