What is the HHN10 RIP Tour?

The Halloween Horror Nights RIP Tour offers a stress-free journey around the park during HHN10 event nights. During the 3.5-hour guided tour, guests can enjoy VIP access to HHN10’s horrifying attractions, such as the new haunted houses and scare zones. The 2022 RIP Tour package also includes two special experiences which other park guests will have to pay to get in: a dinner experience, and an interactive show.

As there is no Frequent Fear Pass this year, those who wish to see all the terrors that HHN10 has to offer can consider the RIP Tour Package, as the tour will cover all the haunting attractions via VIP access, plus two of the three special experience. You’ll need to buy one more add-on (Escape The Breakout Laser Tag) for the complete HHN10 experience.

However if you are only interested in the three houses, it appears that the crowds might be manageable on most days. During the first weekend, the waiting time after 11PM at all three houses were very short or there was no queue at all.

HHN10 RIP Tour (VIP Tour) Highlights

The RIP Tour Guide

Check in at the VIP Reception at the park entrance, where you will meet your surgeon, your RIP Tour Guide for the night. Each tour group (of up to 12 guests) will have its own guide who will take care of their guests’ needs and make arrangements for the tour highlights.

If you have any dietary requirements, please inform the staff at the VIP Reception. There is an alternate Vegetarian menu available at DIE-ning with the Dead. Halal option is only available as a set meal from Mel’s Drive-In (takeaway and dine at KT’s Grill). Do note that KT’s Grill is not a Halal-certified venue.

DIE-ning with The Dead (Special Experience)

After checking in, you will make your way to KT’s Grill inside the park for the DIE-ning with The Dead experience. This is a 4-course dinner combined with a show, where the Spirit Medium and his assistants will attempt to summon the fabled Miss Fortune.

The 4 courses are gruesomely themed, it’s Halloween Horror Nights after all. You will also collect your HHN10 F&B item here – during my visit it was a test tube filled with “blood”.

And while you feast (with fear), various spirits may make their appearance – possibly disrupting your dinner. Beware!

DIE-ning with the Dead seating time is dependent on the tour start time chosen at time of booking:

RIP Tour starting at 6:30PM / DIE-ning with the Dead at 6:30PM
RIP Tour starting at 7:30PM / DIE-ning with the Dead at 7:45PM
RIP Tour starting at 8:00PM / DIE-ning with the Dead at 9:00PM

I was on the 6:30PM slot and the DIE-ning experience was running late and everyone had to rush through their desserts. Keep that in mind. The second tour slot will start off with the Opening Scaremony, after which guests will proceed to the dining experience. Overall, the dinner was decent but those who wish to have a more relaxed experience may want to take the last slot instead, as it is likely to be less crowded than the first.

Opening Scaremony: The Silenced Auction (VIP Viewing Area)

RIP Tour guests can enjoy front-row views of The Silenced Auction and see all the action and details of the show up-close.

After the Killustrator reveals himself to the world, you can depart the viewing area without rushing. Everyone else will have to wait for you to leave, before they sprint to their first haunted house.

Monsters & Manifestations (Special Experience)

The next Special Experience, Monsters & Manifestations, is included in your RIP Tour Package. Here, you will meet The Keeper, who will bring you on a tour around the Cursed Castle. This 30-minute interactive experience and show is the first-of-its-kind at Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights. It is quite entertaining, and if it is the first item on your tour itinerary, then it could act as a “warm up” for the haunted houses.

VIP Access to Haunted Houses and Attractions

Your RIP Tour Guide will get you front-of-line access via VIP shortcuts that are inaccessible to other guests. This drastically cuts waiting and walking time to experience all the houses, and you can easily “clear” all the houses and zones within the tour duration, with time for extra rounds at the haunted houses.

During the tour, your RIP Guide will also explain the stories of all the haunted house and scare zones, along with other cool facts on Universal Studios Singapore and its attractions.

Skip the Queue all night long: Halloween Horror Nights Express Unlimited

If going to the haunted houses and rides during the tour wasn’t enough, you can still cut the standard queue line and take the shortcut to the horrors or thrilling rides. As an RIP Tour Guest, you will have the Halloween Horror Nights Express Unlimited wristband, offering unlimited use of the Universal Express Lane. This privilege is not sold at the park, as HHN Express Passes are good for one use at each attraction*.

Private Meet and Greet with an HHN10 Icon

During your tour, you will visit the Pantages Hollywood Theater Foyer for a private Meet and Greet. This year, RIP Tour guests will also get a 6R printed photo as part of their package. Pick and print your photo at The Dark Room retail store.

This year’s iconic characters, such as The Horrorcle and Killustrator, will appear here just for RIP Tour guests. You never know who you might meet. Photo opportunities are very exclusive this year, as the main stage and Mel’s stage at Hollywood are both not used for any Meet and Greets.
