Is there any promotion for the ticket and express ticket it seem so expensive 😞
Look out for roadshows at schools and malls, where there will be special discounts for admission tickets or bundle deals.
There is usually no discount for HHN Express Pass.
Are the first week or first day in will have the most crowd in hhn?
My friends plan to go on the first day but I’m not too sure if that’s a good idea.
Usually, the first night is among the most crowded nights.
Is photography allowed at the event (obviously not in the mazes) and are there lockers available?
Photography is allowed in scare zones. Lockers are available in the park near attractions that do not allow loose items (i.e. Battlestar Galactica, Revenge of the Mummy), and the rental period is free for the posted waiting time for these attractions.
Which one do you recommend?
Getting a ticket for a peak day or a non-peak day?
Oct 3 or 4
Which one will be less crowded?
Peak days have 1 hour extra. But will that be just waiting more in the queue?
In past years, the non-peak nights are sometimes more crowded than peak nights, due to cheaper tickets. RWS is also selling discounted tickets that are open dated for any non-peak night, during roadshows held for students.
You may wish to consider visiting sometime in the 2nd or 3rd weeks, and typically in the past there is a mid-season lull.
Are there any accommodations for those who have disabilities wity difficulty queueing and use a wheelchair?
The queues and haunted houses are designed to be accessible, and within the houses, there may be alternate routes for wheelchair users. Please check with the park crew during your visit.
is there any reason why is there no opening scaremony this year ?
The park may have decided to replace the Opening Scaremony with a stage show in Pantages Hollywood Theater this year.
Any idea how it will work? Since there will be no opening show, day attractions opens from 6pm some houses are open from 6:30pm but event starts at 7:15pm?
From 6PM, guests with early entry benefit can start entering the park to enjoy rides and restaurants that are open. Then at 6:30PM, two haunted houses will be open.
At 7:15PM, the event officially starts: All HHN12 attractions, including scare zones and the remaining two haunted houses, will be open. Guests with standard tickets may already have entered the park but would be likely waiting at a holding area before the event officially starts.
Hi Dejiki
We bought RIP TOUR Tickets that start at 7:15pm, are allowed in earlier?
What time are we suppose to reach the park?
Thank you.
Big Fan.
Your tour will officially start at 7:15PM. You should arrive at the park’s VIP Reception (at park entrance) at least 30min before the chosen tour time, to check-in and get everything ready.
Thank you hope to see you there 😀
Do we need to get another ticket to the viper longue even if we have a RIP tour booked?
No, you don’t need to.
Can i know what you meant by no fixed dining experience? Meaning no dining experience at all or the dining experience is different timing
There is no dining experience this year. Depending on your chosen RIP Tour timing, you can spend the meal vouchers in the park restaurants that are open:
– For 6PM RIP Tour: Between 6PM to 7:15PM
– For 7:15PM and 7:45PM RIP Tour: Free to use anytime after RIP Tour ends
Hi, if we buy halloween event ticket then do we need yo buy the entrance ticket to USS too? (Separate) ?
Or we only need to buy the halloween ticket and included the entrance ticket?
If you are attending Halloween Horror Nights 12 (HHN12) from 7:15PM, then you only need the HHN12 Admission ticket.
If you wish to visit Universal Studios Singapore in the day from 10AM to 5PM, then you need to buy the USS Admission ticket.
Do you know when and where will the student rosdshws be held? I can’t find any information and I’m afraid of missing it also do you know roughly how much are student tickets from past experiences? Thank you.
HHN12 Student tickets are priced at S$71 for Non-Peak, S$81 for Peak nights. There is also a S$264 bundle of 4 tickets for Non-Peak (this is not the same as Frights for Four).
where will the Student price roadshows be held?
You can find out from @universalstudiossingapore on Instagram by following their IG Stories.
Hi Dejiki, by any chance would you happen to know what is the prices at the roadshows or what to expect at the roadshow? 😅 Thank you in advance!
Student Roadshows generally offered a 10% discount off standard rates. Often the roadshows would offer small HHN12 gifts as part of the promotions. These items are not the same as merchandise available to buy in the park.
Just to update, HHN12 Roadshow ticket prices:
HHN12 Admission Ticket ($5 discount)
Non-Peak: $75
Peak: $85
Frights for Four Package (No discount)
Non-Peak: $480
Peak: $520
HHN12 freebies given to customers at roadshows include: A mini fan (battery operated), lanyard, and small drawstring bag.
Hi do the student-priced tickets also apply to international students or only the public?
You need to show a valid student pass at the park entrance to use student-priced tickets. For group bundles, at least one person needs to show the student pass. For further confirmation on eligible student passes, please ask at the school roadshows.
Why is there four haunted houses this year in replace of 5 and when is the fourth haunted house announcement going to come out
How come this year is only 4 haunted houses not 5 and when do we expect the announcement of the 4 haunted house
Confused by other media reporting those who are under RIP tour can pay an add-on price of $25 for Viper lounge. Does this mean the viper lounge access for the RIP tour is only entrance with no canapés or drink? Or it means an additional portion of canapés and drink is $25.
To enjoy canapes and drinks, RIP Tour guests may either use the $25 Meal Vouchers included in their package (if not yet used) or pay the supplement. The RIP Tour package includes access to the Viper Lounge as a walkthrough experience (as of information at this time).
Hi Dejiki! Thank you for the detailed guide.
Are all the regular attractions open during HHN too? If not, which?
My partner and I are visiting during October, and we were wondering if we could do everything (rides, houses, and shows) during HHN, instead of having to visit the park regularly and going to HHN too.
If not, will purchasing an HHN express pass (plus or not, whatever is needed) help in this regard?
Or would you say we shouldn’t skip the day-visit to the park to begin with?
(Essentially the question is what’s better – HHN with express plus or regular visit + HHN visit)
Thanks again for the incredible guide and your help with this!
The list of attractions available during HHN can be found here: https://dejiki.com/2024/08/uss-hhn12-guide-event-ticket-2024/#rides
If you wish to experience of all Universal Studios Singapore’s attractions and shows (e.g. “everything”), then you will need to visit in the day as well – many shows, meet and greets are not available during HHN. The entire Jurassic Park’s rides and shows are not available at night as it is transformed into The Lost Kampung scare zone.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Based on your reply, we will be going to the park both during the day and HHN, for which the only date we can attend is Oct. 24th.
I read in a previous comment of yours that there is a mid-season “lull” during the 2nd and 3rd weeks.
Unfortunately, the 24th is not on the 2nd nor the 3rd weeks of the event. How bad do you think the crowds will get during this date? Would you recommend getting an HHN express pass anyway?
On another topic, are there any forms of public transportation around the time the event ends? Or would we have to leave early to catch a train out of Sentosa to not be stranded there for the rest of the night?
The mid-season lull period varied over the years. 24th Oct is a Thursday, and a Non-Peak night which means there might be higher crowds due to the cheaper tickets, plus student-exclusive tickets. It’s harder to anticipate the crowds this year as the line-up has changed, but in the past: Most people who arrive when the event starts and stay on until the park closes usually should be able to complete at least 3 houses.
There are limited transport options out of the resort after 12:30AM. I would advise most people who are planning to take an MRT to leave the park around 11PM, because the last train leaving Harbourfront MRT at Vivocity is around 11:55PM, but you might need to be earlier to make the transfers onto other lines at interchanges. To get to Vivocity, you can take either the Monorail from the resort or by walking the Sentosa Boardwalk (~15 mins). Most people who stay till park closing are usually taking taxi/ private hire cars, or have parked their car somewhere in Sentosa. Some would prefer to walk out to Vivocity to get a cab, as it’s cheaper, and usually faster.
If you prefer not to rush and have a hectic night after a long day in the park, I would suggest that you get the HHN Express Pass (you can get them separately via my Klook links in this article). This way, you might also leave the park earlier.
You are feel excited to go to Halloween Horror Nights this year
Are tickets currently sold out for all days? Can’t seem to find a regular ticket option on their websites 🙁
There seems to be some issues with their ticketing system. Try again a few days later.
Noticed that this year’s pricing is getting out of hand. For this year, non peak in Sept is $200 and can only choose Express Plus available (no Express aka haunted houses only), and peak is $190 with Express. Last year the cost was only $159 at peak with Express which is still tolerable…
Is the entry to the 3 different shows FOC and included in the RIP tour package? I realised that there are no more slots for the RIP tour that starts at 6pm on the 28 Sep? Furthermore, there isnt any mastercard promotion for RIP tour package.
There are no Credit Card promotions for RIP Tour packages announced this year. If a certain time slot is not available, it is sold out at this time.
All 3 shows are included with HHN12 admission tickets, including RIP Tour. You should be able to watch the shows during your tour.
Hi dejiki! Your guides have been very useful and I’d like to thank you for continuing to publish them year after year. I noticed that SMU is having a roadshow today and tomorrow. Will they check for specifically SMU IDs? How do the roadshows work. Would a member of public were to go to the roadshow would we be able to purchase tickets?
The staff at roadshows can advise if there are any purchase or usage restrictions. To my knowledge, these discounted tickets for students require at least one student ID to be presented at the park entrance.
Thank you for the response!
I’ve never been to HHN and kinda confused about the Express Plus… skipping 1 line means out of all the rides and houses only one of them can be skipped? The wording on the website is “skip the regular lines one time at all haunted houses, plus at participating rides and attractions”. So for eg if I use the express plus to skip mummy ride, the pass ends there and I have to queue normally for everything else?
Hi Mandy, the HHN Express Plus can be used once at each of the participating attractions. So in your example, after you have used it once for The Mummy ride, you can’t use it for The Mummy again, but you still can use it at other participating attractions.
Hi dejiki, any Before Dark articles this year? Thanks ^_^
Stay tuned.
Hi Dejiki, would you be publishing the review of the haunted houses as per previous years? Always love the coverage and reviews.
If you have a day ticket do you have to leave the park and come back?
Hi when is the Halloween Horror Nights before dark article coming out
Later today, together with the BEFORE DARK vlog. Stay tuned!
How are the crowds going to be for opening night on Halloween Horror Nights what is the expected wait time and what is the highest number of people they can take for Halloween Horror Nights attendees
are there going to be staffs in the haunted houses to assist you if you need help
Yes, there are crew members stationed throughout the haunted houses to assist guests if needed. The houses are also monitored by CCTV.
hi i bought 2 hhn12 tickets.am i able to go on the rides and if so what time?
Rides will be available from 7:15PM when the park opens for the Halloween Horror Nights event.
Hi Dejiki, thanks for the wonderful review.
For the RIP tour, I’m still abit confuse. There’s a 7.45 tour start timing. Can I actually enter the park at 6pm and enter other houses first before the tour timing?
hi i was wondering if you are allowed in if you are under 13
Guests under 13 should attend the event with an adult companion.
Are you allowed in if your age is below the recommended
Guests under 13 should attend the event with an adult companion.
if they dont will they not be allowed it
Officially, HHN12 is not recommended for guests under the age of 13.
Guests under 13 will have to buy the adult tickets, and should attend the event with an adult companion.
Hi Dejiki, thanks for the wonderful review.
For the RIP tour, I’m still abit confuse. There’s a 7.45 tour start timing. Can I actually enter the park at 6pm and enter other houses first before the tour timing?
Halloween Horror Nights begin at 7:15PM. The 6PM entry with attractions is exclusively for ‘Frights for Four package’. RIP Guests that have booked the 6PM slot are to have their dinner in the designated restaurant.
As you have booked the 7:45PM tour, you are expected to check-in at the VIP Reception at least 30 minutes before. The staff will advise if you may enter the park earlier, but HHN will begin at 7:15PM for you.
Hi Dejiki,
I’m holding a 7.45pm RIP tour ticket. May I know if we are allowed to enter the park for dinner at the restaurant before the official start time of 7.15pm?
Based on the official information, only RIP Tour guests that picked 6PM may enter the park before 7:15PM for dinner. The restaurants have limited capacity.
Hi Dejiki,
Can I confirm that guest from the RIP tour can use their unlimited express pass to go through the express lane for rides as well?
Because on the T&C page on RWS website it stated the following under the RIP tour ticket purchase:
*Express entitlement is not valid at the following attractions: pantages theatre, front row access of Battlestar Galatica: Human® and Battlestar Galatica: Cylon®, Puss in Boots and Treasure Hunters.*
so I am kinda confuse now, would be great if you are able to clarify on this, thank you!
Hi Aaron,
You can use it at all participating attractions with the Universal Express lane open during HHN12, including Battlestar Galactica: Human vs Cylon (both sides). The disclaimer is referring to the front row for the roller coasters – which there will be no priority as the park crew will allocate seats to manage all the queue lines. There is no Express lane for Treasure Hunters and Pantages Hollywood Theater. As for Puss in Boots, there is usually an Express lane, but the park may have chosen to close it during HHN12, hence it is stated in the T&Cs like that.
As you are an RIP Tour guest, you should request for your RIP Guide to bring you to these rides via VIP access during the tour.
Can I bring snack? Purpose is not to eat inside. Just want to keep in bag all along a sealed tub snack. Is it okay? Or I would need to find a locker beforehand that the security won’t permit?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the park. Random bag checks are conducted at the park entrance by security staff.
You can store your food items at the rental lockers located at the park entrance, near the ‘It’s A Wrap’ store.
Hello! Do they actually do id / name check? Because my friend can’t make it and would like to pass the ticket to someone else. Would that be an issue?
For discounted tickets bought at school roadshows, at least one person in the group needs to show a Student ID, which may be randomly checked.
There are typically no checks for other tickets so long as they are used in compliance to the Terms and Conditions.
