Halloween Horror Nights 13 RIP Tour Review

The Halloween Horror Nights RIP Tour at Universal Studios Singapore offers a guided, premium experience around the park’s horror attractions, granting you with direct VIP access to all 4 haunted houses.

While the package feels slightly more basic this year, mainly offering expedited access to attractions as the Blumhouse Bar is free to enter, the tour remains the ultimate fuss-free option. All itinerary planning is handled by your Tour Group’s RIP Guide, guaranteeing you hit almost every major event highlight, and with minimal or no waiting time.

Is the HHN13 RIP Tour worth it?

While the 2025 tour is about three hours long, the programme is packed. It includes direct access to all 4 houses during the tour, and reserved seating access for the Once Upon A Time… to Die show at Pantages Hollywood Theater. Other highlights, like the Blumhouse Bar (brief visit during the tour) and the scare zones are experienced during the tour or left for guests to explore afterwards. Furthermore, the included S$25 meal voucher can be used in smaller denominations anytime during your visit to Horror Nights.

As this year’s HHN13 has shortened hours, the RIP Tour Package still remains the best option for those willing to pay a premium for a fuss-free and pleasant experience. HHN13 RIP Tour (VIP Tour) Highlights

The new VIP Reception

As the park is undergoing major renovations, the VIP Reception has shifted to inside Universal Studios Singapore. For RIP Guests, you need to enter the park from the gantries at the extreme right – there’ll be a sign, and RIP Guides will also be around to lead you in.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your selected Tour timeslot, which is your Tour Departure time. Also prepare your RIP Tour Tickets to be scanned for entry

Registration is outside the VIP Reception, and you will then receive a card with your tour group number and guide’s name. You can then head inside for some refreshments.

The RIP Tour Guide

You’ll soon meet your group’s surgeon – the special nickname for your RIP Tour Guide for the night. Each tour group, capped at 12 guests, will have its own guide who will lead you through the horror multiverse in the 13th Hour.

Along the way, your guide will share fun facts about the Universal Studios theme parks and other Horror Nights events, and you might even catch some interesting interactions throughout the night.

HHN13 Exclusive RIP Tour Lanyard and Credential

You will receive the HHN13 RIP lanyard and credential, a collectible for dedicated HHN fans. This year’s lanyard is themed to the 13th Hour, and features an artwork variation of the event’s main visual. The credential design features The Unruly Immortals artwork, and like last year, the card is made of a waterproof and tearproof material that’s less likely to be damaged during your terrifying night at the park.

HHN13 Opening Moment

For guests that selected the 7PM Tour

Depending on the time your tour actually departs from VIP reception, RIP Tour guests can get a headstart to the horrors by experiencing the HHN13 Opening Moment, or rope drop, inside the park. You could view this from the area in Hollywood near The FEARground, or at the entrance of Pantages Hollywood Theater.

Direct VIP Access to all Haunted Houses and Attractions

Enjoy direct VIP access straight into haunted houses and attractions during the tour via exclusive shortcuts closed to all other guests. This drastically reduces waiting and walking time, enabling you to quickly experience key event offerings within three hours.

The HHN13 RIP Tour package includes S$25 worth of meal vouchers that can be redeemed at any of the park’s restaurants open during Halloween Horror Nights, and you can sink your teeth into some terrifying delights.

This Ghoulish Charcoal Pizza Roll ($25) is redeemable at Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor with the full value of the meal vouchers. You get a can of Fanta of your choice too.

Reserved Seating Area at Pantages Hollywood Theater

RIP Tour guests can enjoy reserved seating for Once Upon A Time… to Die show, an area unavailable to other guests during popular show times.

Halloween Horror Nights Express Unlimited

Relive the thrills and horrors over and over again with the included Halloween Horror Nights Express Unlimited wristband. This privilege offers unlimited use of the Universal Express Lane at participating attractions after the guided tour is complete. This unlimited Express entitlement is not sold separately at the park, so the RIP Tour remains the best option for those willing to pay a premium for maximum scares.

For everyone else, the standard HHN Express and Express Plus Passes are only good for one use per attraction.

Private Meet and Greet with an HHN13 Character

During your tour, you will be treated to a private Meet and Greet held at the Pantages Hollywood Theater Foyer.
