Overview and Thoughts
HEX is creepy journey into a world of black magic and the power of manipulation. And if the house isn’t that crowded with guests inside, this might be as scary as TERROR-Cotta Empress. Much of the house is kept dark, only lit by altars and random candles scattered around cursed objects and relics. There are many visual and audio cues in the houses that puts you right into the ‘wishes’ and ‘outcomes’ of the various spells – some of which are very subtle, while others are outright grotesque. This is perhaps one of the most memorable houses USS has ever created.
I was lucky to have previewed some parts of HEX earlier in the media behind the scenes tour in early September. That was some early preview because the final iteration of the house felt quite different. After the final media preview, the house still had some tweaks here and there – so if you’ve been there during October, you have experienced the much improved… and deadlier version of HEX.
Dissonant drum beats fill the dark jungle as you walk closer to the Midnight Man’s hut.
The Midnight Man welcomes you into his Hut, which is filled with countless cursed objects and relics. From here on, the hut transits between various scenes of wishes and spells that were already performed.
I wish for her HEART to BELONG to ME.

I need MINDLESS ZOMBIES to do the job.
I would do ANYTHING to have a BABY.
In the final rooms, indescribable rituals are being held.
Everyone who had their wishes ‘fulfilled’ are eventually bound by the Midnight Man – there is no escape from his manipulation.

Hello. Yes it is the same George that keeps harassing you with annoying questions about house locations. The truth is that I’m an admin for the Halloween Horror Nights Wiki, and I’ve been trying to include more information about Halloween Horror Nights Singapore on there and, so need to know the house locations. To that end, where as Hex physically located relative to houses in previous years? I think it was were Old Changi Hospital was last year, but I would like it to be confirmed. HEX is located at the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure Back of House area. These haunted houses were all built there: Songs of Death, MATI CAMP, Hell House and Old Changi Hospital.
