Hydrangea Holidays Floral Display
24 June – 14 Aug 2022
Hydrangeas have been a mainstay bloom in countless floral displays at the Flower Dome. After a decade, it finally has a floral display, replacing ‘Tulipmania’ as the Holland-themed display this year.
Also at this display: The adorable bear characters from Gardens by the Bay can be found in every scene!
A section of the Flower Field showing Poffertjes (dutch mini pancakes) scene, with a stall run by the bear Naughty Nicholas.
Lots of cheese (and cute cow wood-carvings) to highlight cheese production in the Netherlands.
There’s also another house showcasing a collection of clogs. This is also a nice photo spot to take with the bountiful floral arrangements right in front of it.

Another popular photo spot is right in front of the windmill.
As the centerpiece of this floral display, the windmill is accompanied with a mini canal and grazing area for adorable sheep wood-carvings, plus more bears around the flowers.
Say hello to Playful Prisca.
While Hydrangeas have been in several floral displays (as colourful ‘fillers’ mostly), there were some uncommon colours and varieties exhibited this time.
Towards the exit, the field at the corner now features a Lighthouse (with Adventurous Andy rowing a boat on a wave of blooms) and a well adorned with pinwheel origamis above it.
Singapore Garden Festival 2022 (from 30 July)
After a four-year hiatus, the Singapore Garden Festival will return this year, but not at Gardens by the Bay. The Festival will take place at Orchard Road and Singapore Botantic Gardens.
Admission to the event is free and more details can be found on the official SGF website.
Upcoming Floral Displays (August and October 2022)
The next floral display, Hanging Gardens, is a collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico. It will feature a 4m-tall Mayan pyramid and is slated to start from late August. Following on, in October we will see the return of sunflowers in the Flower Dome with A Spanish Serenade with Sunflowers floral display.
