Floral Fantasy at Gardens by the Bay

Explore an extravagant world of flowers at Floral Fantasy, Gardens by the Bay’s newest attraction.

Floral Fantasy is a new thematic attraction at Bayfront Plaza, a new area right beside the Bayfront MRT Exit leading to the Gardens. It’s the first thing you’ll notice after stepping out of the underpass! It officially opens to public on 14 April 2019.

Unlike the two conservatories that feature multiple gardens and displays, Floral Fantasy showcases four artistic concepts that are expressed through garden landscapes. The journey concludes with a rather exciting (by nature parks standards) 4D ride attraction.

Depending on what “kind” of Garden visitor you are, Floral Fantasy can take anytime from 10 to 45 minutes to complete. Those who like to take photos and videos of everything for Instagram may take 1.5 hours to finish their ‘grams.

The experience starts off with the Dance landscape – a dazzling, swirling canopy of flowers upside down.

The landscape blends with a display of moving floral balls and twirling plants.

It’s simple, but a favourite among visitors at the preview. Get ready to spend some time here taking videos.

After Dance, the path expands into an open area called Float, with more hanging plants and soothing water features to enjoy.

Walk under a dramatic canopy of driftwood and LED waterfalls in the next area, Waltz.

This zone also features a vivarium with poison dart frogs.

The landscape transits into the cavernous Drift, filled with hanging ferns and subtle glittering effects within.

There is also a collection of exotic orchids displayed here.

Complete your journey at Flight of the Dragonfly, a 4D ride that brings you around Gardens by the Bay. The ride is included with the admission ticket to Floral Fantasy, and you can choose to skip this experience if you wish.

The ride experience can take about 10 minutes including a pre-show briefing. There may be additional wait time during peak periods.

Floral Fantasy Ticketing Information

Floral Fantasy officially opens to public on 14 April 2019. This attraction is separately charged and is not included with standard admission to the other two conservatory attractions, or with the Friends of the Gardens membership.

Time-based Admission
As this is a smaller attraction with fixed capacity, you will need to select an admission time slot when purchasing your tickets. According to Gardens by the Bay, visitors who have missed their selected time slot will have to purchase new admission tickets for the next available time slot.

Also, unlike the other two conservatories, there is no re-entry into Floral Fantasy.

Opening Special
To celebrate the opening of Floral Fantasy, there are discounted tickets from now till 13 May 2019.

Attraction Bundle

If you want to visit all three attractions, it might be worth it to get the Attraction Bundle because it includes the convenient shuttle service from Bayfront Plaza (where Floral Fantasy is located) to the conservatories.

Friends of the Gardens (Annual Passholders)

Friends of the Gardens Membership does not include access to Floral Fantasy. However, members can enjoy a discount on tickets for themselves, along with a special promotional price from now till 13 May 2019.

These tickets are non-transferrable, and members will need to show their membership cards with admission tickets for entry to Floral Fantasy.
