It’s pumpkin madness at Autumn Harvest, Gardens by the Bay‘s newest floral display.
Celebrating a bountiful harvest, an abundance of pumpkins have landed at the Flower Dome. This all-new concept is very different from past ideas in this season that follow after the usual Orchid display. Last year, it was the South African-inspired Tribal Tempo.
Pumpkins reign in the flower dome this season, with flooding the fields with patches of orange, white, and green. It’s not the most beautiful display, but it’s definitely one of the more interesting ones.
And they’re all real!
Some 22 varieties are specially brought in for this floral display, including some rare and odd-looking, warty squashes. Makes you wonder what if they did a Yayoi Kusama art collaboration here.
The centerpiece of this floral display is a Vegetable Giant, and a nearby Pumpkin House guarded by two (helpless?) elves.
There’s even a Halloween-themed section towards the exit of the Flower Dome. Fortunately, not Halloween Horror Nights level… yet. Do you dare to return at night?
Mid-Autumn at Gardens by the Bay, a festival of lanterns will start from 22 September to 8 October 2017. You can already spot some lanterns in the Flower Dome, or around the Bay South Gardens.

Hi dejiki. My family is coming to singapore and will be visiting gardnes by the bay this first week of november, just wanna ask, is there anything to see in the flower dome after each flower display theme ends before the next theme starts? Like after october 29, is it still worth it to visit the flower dome?
