A lot of people have asked what happened to the March USS park update. The reason there wasn’t one? I had no time to visit the resort for the past few weeks and there was a lot of coverage over Sesame Street in early March.
But anyway, since there were requests, I’ve decided to compile some small changes that happened in the past few weeks, such as the new Annual Passes. Yes, they made some changes again.
BioShock Infinite is a game that I’ve waited for years to play, and spent the least time playing. To be more accurate, I forced myself to rush my first play-through of the game so that I could witness the ending myself without walking into spoilers online. Now before you start flinging Murder of Crows at me, I’m taking my time replaying and enjoying all that the game has to offer.
Ken Levine and his team (Irrational Games) have invented a world so different from Rapture, the underwater city of BioShock and BioShock 2. Rapture was a city hidden underwater, built for the world’s best scientists and artists. In BioShock Infinite, we are brought to Columbia, a floating city in the sky that disappeared into the clouds. Columbia is ruled by The Founders, which wanted to keep the cloud city only for Americans.
Gamers will discover the secrets behind the city, its ruler and religious doctrines, as well as the true meaning of BioShock Infinite at the close. But for now, enjoy my spoiler-free tours of this marvelous game that looks absolutely amazing at its tip-top settings. Showing for just two days at the ArtScience Museum, the Gucci Flora Icon exhibition invites visitors to trace the origins of the Flora motif and discover some pieces that don the iconic motif. From garments to porcelain items, the Flora print breathes life to objects curated over the past five decades.
Sesame Street Character Breakfast is part of the Sesame Street experience at Universal Studios Singapore. Available from late 2012, this premium add-on allows park guests to enjoy a hearty breakfast at Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor and meet characters from Sesame Street.
Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase is now officially open at Universal Studios Singapore, Resorts World at Sentosa. With a light-hearted and silly storyline about missing spaghetti, this indoor dark ride brings guests on a space adventure to recover stolen pasta. To celebrate the grand opening of this new family-oriented attraction, Universal Studios Singapore is organizing a Sesame Street Carnival for the ride’s opening weekend (March 1st 2013 ~ March 3rd 2013).

The Art of the Brick presents a stunning collection of brick creations by Nathan Sawaya, famed LEGO artist (and LEGO Master Builder) from New York. Staged at the Level 3 Galleries in the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands, Sawaya’s creations dance between thought-provoking sculptures with the playful medium of colourful LEGO bricks.

Sentosa Flowers is back again, with Joys of Spring as this year’s theme. For the first time, the event is held along Palawan Beach, including the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. Also a first: There is an admission charge of $5 ($4 if you buy tickets a day earlier).
I did not attend last year’s event, but I did back in 2011. It was held along Imbiah and some parts of Resorts World Sentosa. It was free before, which meant that there were too many people around.
