Overview: Halloween attractions in Singapore 2012

Terror returns this October with several Halloween attractions all over Singapore. Here is a convenient guide to various themed haunts in Singapore for the 2012 Halloween season.

Halloween Event Guide 2013 Edition – now available!

This page is a guide to Halloween attractions in 2012.
Looking for events in 2013? The 2013 Guide to Halloween attractions and events is now available!

Universal Studios Singapore presents an elevated sequel to its highly successful Halloween Horrors Nights, promising to be a larger event that is more elaborate and much scarier than before. Sentosa Spooktacular is also making a return with Asian horror-themed haunted trails – but for the first time, it will be held at Fort Siloso. If these two attractions seem too lengthy for you, a smaller haunt, FrightFest 2012 is available at the Singapore Flyer.

Also, various popular night clubs are hosting Halloween-themed events for those who wish to just dance through the night.

It is time again to gather your brave friends (and the gutless ones) for a few nights of fear at these events! I’m sure the memories will last forever.

This entry will be continuously updated when new information is available. Do bookmark this page and check regularly for updates.

Hermès – The Gift Of Time

DSC01106

Some of us dream of pausing time, or going back in time. But we can never stop the march of time.

Hermès presents The Gift Of Time – an exhibition at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. Designed by Hilton McConnico, the exhibition tells a story (or several) about Hermès with contemplations of time. The concept of time is inherent to all the exhibits, with the exhibition space represented as time itself – with a circular, clock-like, walk-through layout. It provides playful interpretations to time (free time, suspending time, cycles of time, what comes with time, etc) with the use of Hermès products to construct various installations.

Whether you are a fan of Hermès or not, you should plan a trip to The Gift Of Time. The exhibition is free and will be open to public from now till 12 August 2012, 11:00AM ~ 09:00PM daily. Some areas of Tanjong Pagar Railway Station are also open to public during this period.

Ocean Park has two distinct areas separated by a mountain. The earlier entries covered attractions in the Lowlands (Waterfront zone). Located at higher Headlands area are four themed zones, such as Marine World, Adventure Land, Rainforest and Thrill Mountain. Both areas are connected with a Cable Car system and the new Ocean Express.

The Summit area mainly features amusement park attractions and some animal shows. Built at a higher altitude, this is a very relaxing, open area which also faces the sea.
