Formula 1 fans in Singapore have something to look forward to this July. F1 The Exhibition Singapore opens at Gardens by the Bay on 23 July 2026, bringing seven themed rooms of racing history, iconic cars, driver artefacts, and more. Here’s everything to know before you go.
F1 The Exhibition in Singapore: What to Expect
F1 The Exhibition is a global touring show produced by Round Room Live and Pathfinder Live in partnership with Formula 1, and Singapore marks its 11th host city and first appearance in Asia.
The Singapore edition sits inside a massive tent on the Eastern Greenway at Gardens by the Bay, directly outside Gardens by the Bay MRT Exit 1. Seven themed rooms guide visitors through the sport’s history, design, personalities, safety, and Singapore’s own place on the calendar, before ending in a light and sound finale. Allow around 90 minutes for the full walkthrough.
Audio commentary throughout the exhibition is delivered via the F1 Exhibition Companion App, available on iOS and Android. A QR code on-site takes you to the download, and the app carries the guided audio for each room, so bring your own headphones.

F1 Exhibition Singapore – Tickets and Admission
Tickets to the F1 Exhibition Singapore start from $29 for children (ages 5-12), $40 for younger teens (ages 13-17), and $49 for adults (ages 18 and above), with pricing set by the date you select on Ticketek. Peak and Standard rates apply depending on the day, and you will be asked to choose a session timeslot when booking.

Once Upon A Time In Formula 1
The opening gallery sets the tone for the F1 Exhibition, taking visitors through some of Formula 1’s most defining moments with iconic race cars, rare artefacts, and interviews with the sport’s most renowned personalities. Three historic cars anchor the room: the Williams FW15C, the Toyota TF109, and the Lotus E21.
The Toyota TF109 sits at the centre of the trio. I knew from early publicity that this car was making its F1 Exhibition debut, and the panel around it filled in the rest: this was Toyota’s final F1 car, and the one Kamui Kobayashi took to a second-place finish here in Singapore in his debut season.
Revolution By Design
Revolution By Design turns the focus to breakthrough innovations and the technologies throughout F1 history.
BAR Honda 005
The room rewards a slower walk-through more than most. The first thing you see is the Lotus 25, displayed as the blueprint for the modern F1 car: the 1962 chassis that replaced heavy spaceframes with a lightweight form, and set aerodynamic and engineering principles the sport still runs on today.
The BAR Honda 005 follows as the room’s centrepiece, and at the back wall, Data, Vision + Control traces the evolution of the cockpit itself, pairing a modern carbon-fibre steering wheel that commands hundreds of parameters with interactive cutaways showing how everything works.
Design Lab
Styled like a factory floor, Design Lab offers a look at how F1 teams develop the components that make up each season’s car.
Individual parts and componentry are on display, with contributions from Red Bull Racing, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, McLaren, and exhibition partner Pirelli. The room’s centrepiece is the Red Bull RB7, the car that carried Sebastian Vettel to his second consecutive Drivers’ Championship in 2011.
What kept me here longer than expected wasn’t the RB7, but the smaller showcases around it. The Duel Power exhibit runs a video illustration alongside a Mercedes power unit from 2017, breaking down how the modern hybrid formula actually works.
A few steps away, Holding the Road lines up Pirelli’s five tyre compounds side by side, from the softest dry slick to the full wet, alongside a companion panel breaking down how teams juggle compounds across a race weekend.
Drivers & Duels
Drivers & Duels is inspired by the geometry of a race circuit, and it’s the room where the sport’s personalities take centre stage.
Over 50 helmets line the walls alongside race suits, historic memorabilia, and a Hall of Fame that traces the sport’s champions decade by decade.
The centrepiece is a line-up of race suits and helmets from Formula 1’s most decorated names, including modern-era champions Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, and Max Verstappen, each with their Drivers’ Championship years tallied on the plinth below. It’s the closest most fans will get to seeing that many title-winning liveries in one place.
Around the corner, The Greatest Duels breaks down the sport’s most-talked-about rivalries race by race, closing on the 2021 Hamilton vs Verstappen title fight.
Nearby, an interactive station lets visitors see themselves rendered in a race suit of their choice through a live video feed, a natural stop for a photo. Expect a queue for the T-pose.
Survival
Survival takes a turn in tone. The room is built around parts of the car Romain Grosjean was driving when he crashed at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, alongside the gloves and boots he wore during his miracle escape.
A charred steering wheel and a destroyed wheel sit under glass alongside an interactive 3D scan of the chassis, letting you rotate through the damage at your own pace. On the opposite side, footage of the crash itself plays on loop.
To lighten the mood, there are two activity stations right after Survival, a reaction game where you can challenge friends and fellow visitors, as well as the Podium for memorable shots.
Pit Wall
Pit Wall is billed as the finale, and technically it is, a five-minute immersive show playing across three walls, closing out Formula 1’s 76-year story in a burst of light, sound, and archive footage. It’s a stirring watch, and if it were the last thing you did on your way out, it would land as designed.
The catch is that it isn’t. Singapore Drive sits after Pit Wall in the walkthrough, and the pacing dip is noticeable.
Singapore Drive
Singapore Drive is the zone built exclusively for this run of the exhibition, a tribute to the Singapore Grand Prix since it joined the Formula 1 calendar in 2008 and became a sensation as the sport’s first night race.
Race suits, helmets, and trophies are displayed alongside archive posters and race programmes tracing the years, including a Sebastian Vettel Ferrari suit and an Alpine suit worn by Kabir Anurag, the first Singaporean to be recruited into the Alpine driver development programme.
This space is built specifically for Singapore, and it deserves to be the emotional close. Instead, it lands as a long wall of static exhibits and a single display cabinet, and the execution feels understated after the light and sound of the Pit Wall show.
One Last Stop Before the Shop
The exhibition closes with a corridor of life-sized cutouts of current F1 drivers, arranged for visitors to snap a selfie with their favourite. It’s a light way to end the walkthrough, expect queues and pauses here.
F1 The Exhibition Singapore Shop
The exhibition ends in a merchandise shop stocked with the full range of F1 The Exhibition exclusive merch, some team apparel, model cars and collectibles.
It’s open to non-ticket holders, so friends and family waiting outside can browse too.
A grid wall of team caps covers every current constructor, from Ferrari’s red to McLaren’s papaya orange. Expect authentic team merchandise pricing.
Fastest Lap Simulator Experience
The Fastest Lap Simulator Experience is a paid add-on (S$20) that has to be booked alongside your exhibition ticket, and it’s included in the Pole Position package. Walk-ins may be available – check on-site. Each session runs around seven minutes.
The rigs sit lined up in a dedicated bay, each fitted with a Simagic racing wheel and a ultra-wide screen setup that gives peripheral vision through the corners. This is closer to what F1 fans would expect from a dedicated sim setup at home than the arcade rigs found at most attractions!
