Doors to ‘Hell’oween – The Terror Maze

Downtown East - Escape to 'Hell'oween - The Terror Maze Haunted House 1 / Human Spider Queen

This year, Downtown East’s Escape to ‘Hell’oween offers new attractions for spooky fun or frightening thrills. Get a sneak peek of the Terror Maze here – the scariest attraction at the event.

Taking place entirely inside the D’Marquee Tent, The Terror Maze features more than 10 rooms that are inspired by horror films and scary locations. Here are photos taken from some rooms:

The Terror Maze is journey through popular themes in the horror genre. There is a room with dolls, hallways with skeletons, and of course, a graveyard. The rooms will get visitors thinking about the themes – is it that movie? or that show?

Being part of a line-up of family-friendly Halloween programme, this maze is clearly designed to be adequately frightening (and not traumatizing). Is it very scary? No. But did I pause at some rooms? Yes. While the effects and overall design are simple, the actual maze is much darker than portrayed in my photos… and there are some surprises – so don’t expect to walk out without a jolt!
