Southeast Asia’s first POP BAKERY has opened in Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa! This is POP MART’s cafe concept stepping outside China for the first time. Get your first look inside Singapore’s POP BAKERY in this article!
What is POP BAKERY Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa about?

POP BAKERY sits on Level 2 of POP MART Resorts World Sentosa, also a new store opening on 30 July 2026. Housed in a two-storey standalone villa in the WEAVE lifestyle hub, POP BAKERY is just a short walk from key attractions at Resorts World Sentosa, including Universal Studios Singapore and Singapore Oceanarium.
The dining experience was created by the resort’s in-house culinary team working alongside POP MART, but the design of the bakery (or cafe) is uniquely Singaporean yet distinctively POP MART.
Running through all of it is Twinkle Twinkle, the character that POP MART describes as a group of tiny stars with rosy cheeks, created by artist Daxin, telling stories of courage, longing and love. The one you meet here is on its first overseas residency, so this is where the little stars have decided to stay.

My adventure began through a door that bypasses the POP MART Store – and once inside, even the stairwell does the first bit of work. Framed character artworks, each one lit like a piece in a collection rather than decor, slowly invite you to discover a different world upstairs.
MOLLY’S BAKERY and the SKULLPANDA Upstairs

At the top of the stairs is MOLLY’S BAKERY, marked by a giant MOLLY with a full head of croissant hair.
Beyond it, a SKULLPANDA sculpture floats mid-motion above a circular display counter where the bakery’s creations sit under glass bell jars, each with its own printed placard. If that display method feels familiar, it should. This felt like the SKULLPANDA experience presented at the CAGE UNCAGE showcase.
Bake A Wish at POP BAKERY Singapore
Singapore’s POP BAKERY feels sculpted rather than fitted out. Curved plaster forms overhead lit from a playful swirl, an arched shophouse window set into the far wall as pure motif, and a black and white patterned floor that is unmistakably Peranakan. None of this is incidental, as POP BAKERY has said the space takes its cues from Peranakan shophouses, right down to the flowing silhouettes and the patterns. Seating varies as you move through: freestanding chairs at round marble-topped tables, curved banquettes built into the wall forms, and low poufs tucked in alongside. A mix of whimsy and elegance.
It is worth slowing down and looking at the furniture properly. Twinkle Twinkle faces are worked into the railings of the curved benches. Some chair backs are cut into the silhouette of MOLLY’s crown. The poufs carry SKULLPANDA motifs on their backs. It’s all these details that you’ll discover in a theme park, and perhaps this is why it felt like I stepped into a cafe inside POP LAND, POP MART’s theme park.
The window side is where you want to be. It looks out over the entrance to Universal Studios Singapore, the Universal Globe and Singapore Oceanarium. The giant CRYBABY installations are visible from here too.
You cannot choose where you sit, but there is one table worth knowing about. A backdrop marked Bake A Wish sits behind it, book-ended by two windows facing Universal Studios Singapore, and even comes with its own unique soft lighting from the domed ceiling. This makes it the best photo spot in the room.
Elsewhere, a set of POP MART character heads sits recessed into a white alcove, like a sculpture display.
What I Saw and Ate at POP BAKERY Singapore
Inspired by POP LAND Beijing, the menu splits into POP BAKERY signatures and Singapore exclusives.
Selected items were developed by RWS’s in-house culinary team. Representing them is Chef Sherie Quek, a Singaporean pastry chef with over two decades in the industry, who spoke at the preview about the unique desserts that guests can enjoy at POP BAKERY, such as the coconut mousses.
All prices below are before service charge and GST.
Twinkle Twinkle – Tangy Coconut Mousse, S$18, Singapore exclusive. This is the showpiece, and the one I would order again. A chocolate coconut shell layered with creamy coconut mousse and tangy pineapple, finished with passionfruit popping boba, with a Twinkle Twinkle chocolate floating on top. The whole thing is edible, the little Twinkle Twinkle included, which does give you a moment of pause (oh no!). Tangy, sweet and refreshing all at once, and the passionfruit boba is the best texture on the menu.
Twinkle Twinkle – Sweet Coconut Mousse, S$18, Singapore exclusive. The other half of the pair, in a dark coconut shell, swapping the pineapple for red bean and topping it with brown sugar boba. I did not get to try this one, but if you are choosing between them, this is the comforting option to the tangy one.
Twinkle Twinkle – Dreamy Banana Pastry, S$16. A crisp choux filled with dark chocolate ganache and banana. It reminded me of Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore – fun memories. The ganache keeps the sweetness in check rather than piling on. My only complaint is size. This is a few bites and it is gone.
PUCKY Xiao Long Bao, S$18, Singapore exclusive and dine-in only. Soy milk panna cotta and ice cream shaped as a PUCKY dumpling in a steamer basket, with biscuit sticks as chopsticks and a milk chocolate dip. It arrives under a lifted lid with mist rolling off it, and it photographs beautifully. Honestly though, this one is more for the gram than the tastebuds. The soy milk is forgettable.
Given that this requires a bit of preparation and also melts fast – it’s the only item you cannot take away and it sits behind a dine-in reservation, more on that below.
LABUBU “David” Art Cake, S$18. Mascarpone mousse and cocoa coffee sponge, with a white LABUBU standing on a rough-hewn block like a gallery piece. The MOLLY Orange Cheese Mousse Cake at the same price follows the same idea, a white MOLLY perched on a bright yellow cheese cube, with orange cheese mousse and orange jelly inside. These look more like edible sculptures.
MOLLY Double Cheese Cake, S$20. New York cheesecake blended with mascarpone, with popping candy and crispy bits, topped with a crowned MOLLY in white chocolate.
MOLLY Sweet Ballet Tutu Cake – Blossom, S$32. The most elaborate thing on the menu and the priciest. Soft sponge with coconut white chocolate cream, ruffled into a tutu and scattered with blossom petals, with MOLLY mid-pose on top. It is finished with a dusting of petals.
The DIMOO and LABUBU Crispy Flat Croissants are S$8 each – flat caramelised croissants finished in white chocolate with Oreo crumbs, and dark chocolate with marshmallow bits respectively. These are the cheapest thing worth photographing here.
The Drinks at POP BAKERY Singapore
There are six specialty beverages, all S$12 each.
Twinkle Twinkle Mango Sago was on the tasting menu. It comes with three mango ice pop stars on a skewer, each star with a Twinkle Twinkle motif, over coconut milk, pink grapefruit, fresh milk, mango puree and milk foam. It was a lot, to be frank. The base runs tart, and stirring the sweet stars through tips it into too much of everything at once. The one item I would skip, although it looks nice and would be perfect to snap together with the other Twinkle Twinkle desserts.
My media friend tried Berry Fizz, strawberry cordial cut with balsamic vinegar, which was reviewed as “very refreshing”.
Also available at POP BAKERY Singapore: The usual classic coffee runs from S$5 for a single espresso, S$6 to S$7 for an americano, and S$8 to S$9 for a latte, cappuccino or flat white. My tip: Get the lattes at POP BAKERY, as it comes with a choice of character latte art in LABUBU, MOLLY, DIMOO or Twinkle Twinkle, served on a POP BAKERY patterned cup and saucer with a star-topped gold spoon. At S$8 this is the cheapest way into the room by a wide margin, and if the dessert prices give you pause, this is the answer.
Hot teas are S$8 and soft drinks S$10 – at these prices, it makes far more sense to get lattes just for the thrill of the latte art. Pair it with the DIMOO or LABUBU flat croissants!
The Take-Home/ Retail Counter at POP BAKERY Singapore
No time to dine-in? No worries – there is a retail counter inside the bakery, separate from the POP MART store downstairs, and this can blur your shopping plans.
POP MART’s signature popsicles are available here: The Go Around with Twinkle Twinkle – Sea Salt & Coconut Flavoured Popsicle, S$15, Singapore exclusive, shaped as a Merlion. Alongside it, DIMOO Pandan Ice Cream, S$15, this pandan and milk treat is also Singapore exclusive.
But if you’ve seen the videos on TikTok, then you are likely here for the iconic Twinkle Twinkle Twin Popsicles, S$15, mango and milk. The size is deceptive. Rich, silky, and two of them is more than one person should attempt. Share your Twinkle Twinkle with someone. Also in the cabinet, THE MONSTERS 10th Anniversary Black Sesame Ice Cream at S$12.
On the shelves, moulded chocolates and lollipops. CRYBABY in Caramel Milk and Strawberry White at S$18 each. MOLLY 20th Anniversary chocolate discs in Pistachio Crunch and Jasmine Tea at S$20. And THE MONSTERS 10th Anniversary lollipops in Roasted Coffee and Pineapple at S$5, the only thing here under S$10.
THE MONSTERS – Butter Cookies, S$32, Singapore exclusive. A tin of butter cookies in Original, Chocolate and Singapore-exclusive Coconut, each pressed into a LABUBU silhouette. DIMOO – Butter Sable Cookies sits alongside at S$32 in Original and Chocolate.
So what are the Singapore Exclusives at POP BAKERY Singapore?
There are six items with the Singapore exclusive tag: both Twinkle Twinkle coconut mousses, PUCKY Xiao Long Bao, THE MONSTERS/ LABUBU butter cookies, the sea salt and coconut Twinkle Merlion popsicle, and DIMOO Pandan Ice Cream. Notice a pattern? Four of the six run on coconut, with pandan and soy milk covering the rest, so a coconut sceptic still has something to order.
The Merlion popsicle does the most obvious local work, as Twinkle Twinkle already went on an adventure around Singapore, visiting Joo Chiat, Lau Pa Sat and the Merlion itself ahead of this opening. A cherished national icon and a very new face, sharing a stick.
Twinkle Twinkle Meet & Greet: What to Know
This is probably a highlight for Twinkle Twinkle and POP MART fans – as POP MART Resorts World Sentosa and POP BAKERY will become this little star’s new residency. As with anything that goes popular, there are rules worth understanding before you turn up.
Reservations are required to meet Twinkle Twinkle at POP BAKERY
Advance booking is required and walk-ins are not accommodated during session times. Reservations go through the POP BAKERY page on the Resorts World Sentosa site, or by scanning the QR code on the poster in store. A card is required at booking to hold a deposit, which is released when you arrive, and forfeited as a no-show fee if you do not turn up without cancelling first.
If you are not planning to meet Twinkle Twinkle, none of the above applies. Walk-in takeaway and the retail shelves upstairs are all open without a reservation. But there might be a queue, so please follow instructions from the crew on-site.
OPENING WEEKEND SPECIAL: 30 July, 31 July, 1 August 2026
For the Opening Weekend, Twinkle Twinkle’s Meet and Greet runs on a special timetable. On 30 July there are two sessions, 5:00pm to 6:30pm and 6:30pm to 8:00pm. On 31 July there is one, 5:00pm to 6:30pm. On 1 August there are four, running from 1:30pm through to 5:30pm.
REGULAR CALENDAR: From 2 August 2026 onwards
From 2 August the standing schedule takes over. There are three sessions daily, defined by when Twinkle Twinkle appears: 2:30pm, 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Each session offers two dining slots, staggered by half an hour, and both land on the same appearance.
Session 1 seats at either 1:30pm to 3:00pm or 2:00pm to 3:30pm. Session 2 at 3:30pm to 5:00pm or 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Session 3 at 5:30pm to 7:00pm or 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Whichever you pick, you are there for the same appearance. The offset is presumably there to stop the whole room arriving, ordering and leaving in one wave.
There are no sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which POP MART has set aside as Twinkle Twinkle’s recharge days.
Meeting Twinkle Twinkle requires a minimum spend at POP BAKERY
To secure your Twinkle Twinkle Meet and Greet, a minimum spend of S$40 per guest is needed, and each table must also spend at least S$80 in a single transaction to qualify. You can mix and match across the menu to get there, so it does not have to be one expensive item, but at these prices it works out to roughly two to three things per person before service charge. Most people go as a pair, so make sure you two can commit to ringing up S$80 together!
During the Media Preview, I got to meet Twinkle Twinkle – and it reminded me of Universal Studios Singapore (naturally). There’s a bit of a fanfare with Twinkle Twinkle walking through the doors and started dancing. The host made an introduction and got everyone seated. Twinkle Twinkle then made its way around the room, stopping at tables for short one-on-one moments rather than staging a line at a photo point. That format was genuinely magical.
My Take on POP BAKERY Singapore
POP BAKERY is far better than it needs to be. This could have been like one of those “pop up cafes”, with character decals to dress up plain spaces and simple printed decor on the food. Instead this is a unique, beautifully sculpted space filled with interesting installations, just like signature POP MART stores. Also the rare view across the resort, and a top pastry chef’s name attached to the menu. A surprising side to this gem in the making.
The food is uneven – but diehard fans are often forgiving. The Twinkle Twinkle coconut mousse justifies the trip on its own and the popsicles are exactly what they promise. Some of the creations lean more on presentation than flavour. Portions run small against the prices, which is standard for this kind of venue but worth going in knowing.
Who should book a dine-in reservation: anyone who wants PUCKY Xiao Long Bao, anyone bringing a group, and anyone set on the Meet & Greet. Who should not: solo visitors and anyone just after the popsicles and cookies, all of which are on the walk-in takeaway counter – just queue and wait patiently.
