Minions Summer Street Party
The biggest addition for Summer 2025 is the Minions Summer Street Party, a mega street show at New York. The stage pieces roves with dancers in minion costumes around some areas of the park, before they all arrive and merges into a long stage at New York.
Then, the Minions appear, in special costumes! We have Kevin (Cheerleader), Stuart (Kung Fu), Bob (Groovy), Jerry (Villain Con Fan), Dave (Special AVL Agent).
It’s a universal celebration of Minions, which each Minion guest bringing a special act into the show. The stage also changes its appearance through simple design tricks.
Lucky guests will also be invited to join in the celebration, with the opportunity to dance along the minions all around the stage!
Minions Summer Street Party is a limited-time entertainment offering, available only from 9 July to 10 August 2025.
Gabby’s Dollhouse Meet and Greet
Over at Hollywood Boulevard, there is a new Gabby’s Dollhouse Meet and Greet. This experience toured the other Universal Studios parks in 2024, and has finally made its way here. Gabby will be in Singapore until September 2025.
Toothless and Astrid at the new How To Train Your Dragon Meet and Greet
Before Gabby took over the spot at Hollywood, it was a How To Train Your Dragon Meet and Greet experience to celebrate the launch of the new live-action film.
Now, you can have more opportunities to meet Astrid and Hiccup! The new How To Train Your Dragon Meet and Greet has a new home at Fairy Godmother’s Potion Shop in Far Far Away.
Jurassic World: Rebirth experiences
As a tie-in to the new Jurassic World: Rebirth movie, there are a handful of additions to the park. Guests can marvel at the Quetzalcoatlus display, meet Dolores the Aquilops, and even feast on some special dishes at the Discovery Food Court. A selection of new dinosaur toys can also be found at the Dino-Store inside Jurassic Park!
Waterworld Meet and Greet
The Waterworld show is undergoing extended maintenance. It was expected to return sometime in mid 2025, but it seems like more time is needed.
For now, a Waterworld Meet and Greet experience featuring the cast has temporarily replaced the show. This takes place at Jurassic Park near the entrance to Waterworld and Far Far Away, and includes cast members “performing a dry land” version of the opening act in Waterworld.
Other shows available for a limited time
There are a handful of park entertainment also available for a limited time, before they take a short break.
Sesame Street Goes Bollywood, the park’s original show starring Elmo, Bert and Ernie, is back at Ancient Egypt’s outdoor terrace!
Sunday park visits are special, because the day concludes with two shows that are not available on all other days of the park. The first is the park’s Universal Star Power Parade, an updated version of the 2019 Hollywood Dreams Light-Up Parade (which is a refresh of the 2015 version of the parade, and working backwards, the renewal of the original 2011 park parade).
The Star Power Parade is typically scheduled on selected Sundays, 7PM. It will go on hiatus after the parade on 10 August 2025, and is expected to resume after 2025 Christmas event.
Lake Hollywood Spectacular, the park’s original fireworks display, is typically scheduled on selected Sundays, 8PM. It will go on hiatus after the show on 10 August 2025, and is expected to resume after the Halloween Horror Nights season.
Renewed Mariner Market food cart
Outside Waterworld, the old Mariner’s Market food cart has been replaced with a rather simple retheme, but now serves a variety of crisply battered seafood (Fish, Calamari or Shrimp) with chips, at $15 per dish.
USS Merchandise Update – July 2025
For just S$188, you can bring home this amazing Stuart the Conqueror figurine with the iconic Fluffy unicorn, also known as the Limited Edition Super Silly Space Killer vinyl collectible.
The second wave of Singapore-exclusive Minion Land merchandise has also landed – the Minion Sakura collection!

PROJECT +65, a new brand of USS-exclusive merchandise has also launched recently. Collaborating with local creatives, the brand is also created to celebrate Singapore’s 60th year of independence. The first collection, PROJECT +65: Sesame Street x Andre Tan, is now available at the Universal Studios Store and Big Bird Emporium.

Park Expansion and Maintenance Update
Resorts World Sentosa (of which USS is a part of) is undergoing a major resort-wide upgrade. Universal Studios Singapore’s next major expansion would be Super Nintendo World, which will be concurrently built with the upgrading works including the new waterfront development.
At this time, buildings near the park entrance are undergoing demolition works, with the original ticketing counters, Guest Services, and VIP Reception now all gone.
The new location for these services are on the other side: The Guest Services office outside the park is now beside It’s A Wrap store, and the VIP Reception has moved into the park, where Rentals used to be.

Inside the park: from New York to Far Far Away, several building facades have been repainted with brighter colours. Notably, the castle walls now look rather peachy, as compared to the Far Far Away Castle itself.
The Hollywood Fountain Plaza looks fantastic with new colours, but the areas around it are undergoing renovations.
The pathway encircling the lagoon is blocked off at some points, such as some areas beside Mel’s Drive-In, and Sci-Fi City’s suspended bridge below the tracks of Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs CYLON roller coasters.
During this refurbishment period, Mel’s Stage is also not available, including Mel’s Mixtape that is performed there.
At Jurassic Park, the sheltered walkways are getting reworked, so all affected areas on the ground are closed. Due to this, the park’s parade show route has been drastically shortened.
