Get ready for a spooky fun Halloween at Universal Studios Singapore’s 2024 Daytime Halloween event!

2024 Halloween Fun at Universal Studios Singapore

From 13 September to 3 November 2024, family-friendly Halloween-themed activities are available to all park guests during Universal Studios Singapore’s normal park opening hours. Look forward to the Candy Cruisers returning, with refreshed Meet and Greet experiences around the park.

Unlike past years’ events under the Trick or Thrills brand, the 2024 Day Halloween event is a smaller affair, suggesting that the park might be pulling all the stops for its nighttime entertainment offerings at Halloween Horror Nights 12.

To experience the 2024 Halloween Fun For All at Universal Studios Singapore, all you need is a regular park ticket:

*Valid for Singapore Residents with an official Singapore Photo ID to be shown at entry. Minimum 1 day advance booking is required.

2024 Universal Studios Singapore Daytime Halloween event highlights

During this seasonal event, most of the park characters will be in Halloween outfits – there’s a mix of new and returning costumes this year. Following the park tradition during Halloween season, you can pick up free candy from The Candy Cruisers at a few spots around the park, plus during some Meet and Greets in Hollywood, New York and Sci-Fi City.

The Candy Cruisers essentially “opens” a Meet and Greet’s entrance choreography, starting from Hollywood, before moving to the other stops to open other Meet and Greets.

Meet characters from Despicable Me at Hollywood, such as the four Minion Monsters: Kevin Dracula, Mummy Stuart, FrankenBob, and Wolfman Minion – all inspired by the classic Universal Monsters characters.

Gru’s Girls – Margo, Edith, and Agnes – will also be at Hollywood but with new outfits this year: Margo’s upgraded Witch outfit, Edith has dressed up as a Mummy, and Agnes has a new Black Cat costume.

Of course, Gru and Lucy are ready to greet in their new Halloween look.

In New York, you can meet Sesame Street friends in their medieval-themed costumes: Cookie Monster the Jester, Abby Cadabby as a Princess, Count von Count as the King, and Elmo as a Wizard (new!).

Returning to Ancient Egypt for the spooky season: The Sorceress with Anubis Guards and Mummies.

HHN RIP Tour Guide not included at this Meet and Greet

Royal couple Shrek and Princess Fiona are ready to go Trick-or-Treating with their Halloween outfits.

Lastly, Bumblebee will have Halloween-themed tunes at the Transformers Meet and Greet in Sci-Fi City.

Other Halloween-themed Experiences

Like in past years, you can find Halloween-themed food around the park restaurants – especially at Mel’s Drive-In and Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor. If you bought the Halloween Fun Package from RWS, then the voucher can be used for one of these seasonal meals at participating restaurants.

A collection of snacks with a Halloween twist can also be found around the park’s food cart, especially at Hollywood, Sci-Fi City, and Ancient Egypt. Star Snacks at Hollywood has the full collection:

Complete your daytime Halloween adventure at Universal Studios Singapore with some Minion Monsters merchandise that you can bring home. You can find this collection at the wall inside Minion Mart.

There is also a selection of stationery with Minion Monsters designs.

Other Park Updates

Fortune Favors The Furry is a new street show at Far Far Away, starring Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, and a Fortune Teller. As part of the revamp, The Milk Bar has been replaced with Ye Olde Fortune Teller.

Trolls Hug Time Jubilee, typically shown in Pantages Hollywood Theater, has returned with stage modifications to remove the colourful props in the theater, making the space look less Trolls-specific. This also includes clearing up the giant rainbow backdrop in the foyer. However the show is mostly the same

The nighttime fireworks show, Lake Hollywood Spectacular, is suspended during the Halloween season, and will return from November as a semi-regular show. Until then, you can watch the show on my YouTube channel.
