Naruto: The Gallery offers fans of the anime with a walkthrough exhibition covering the story from the main characters’ childhood days to the Fourth Great Ninja War. The original exhibition opened in Japan in December 2022 to commemorate the anime’s 20th Anniversary. After a tour around Japan in 2023, it is making its global debut with an English presentation at Universal Studios Singapore’s Soundstage 28. As part of the experience, fans can visit Naruto: The Gallery Café to enjoy food and beverages inspired by the anime. More on that later in this article!

The Naruto exhibition is open to all Universal Studios Singapore park guests, who may already be drawn to these character sculptures at the park entrance after scanning their tickets!

Tickets to Naruto: The Gallery at Universal Studios Singapore

From 28 March to 30 June 2024, Naruto: The Gallery is available to all park guests during Universal Studios Singapore’s normal park opening hours. So all you need is a regular park ticket to Universal Studios Singapore:

As someone who has watched Part 1 of Naruto (and caught up with the rest reading plot summaries), I thought that Naruto: The Gallery offered a good retrospective look on the series, plus some fresh content for fans. Those who are new to Naruto will also appreciate the visually attractive presentation that will introduce them to this expansive world of ninjas, and bring themselves up to speed on the story.

The exhibition will be here for 3 months and is open to all park guests, offering a reason to revisit Universal Studios Singapore to experience new highlights such as this Naruto exhibition and the Universal Star Power Parade on selected weekend evenings, and enjoy the park’s usual line-up of rides and shows.

Naruto: The Gallery Highlights Tour

Naruto: The Gallery is inside Soundstage 28, and the queue entrance is at Hollywood, just beside Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase.

Once inside, you can spot your favourite ninjas in this striking mural, and a compilation of congratulatory messages from industry professionals that worked on the anime series.

Then it’s into the first video room in Naruto: The Gallery. After watching the Opening Movie filled with cuts of epic battles from the anime, you then step inside the next room which introduces the main characters of Team 7 (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and their mentor Kakashi) and their stories – along with key showdowns throughout their early times together.

The next room expands into the Chūnin Selection Exams arc, where more characters are introduced.

Here you can find the Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village) Diorama, and have fun trying to spot landmarks as shown on the wall.

The video walls and sets inside Naruto: The Gallery can be fun backdrops for fans – especially for those who intend to visit the park in costumes. During the event period, park guests are allowed to cosplay, provided that they adhere to the Universal Studios Singapore’s cosplayer costume guidelines.

After more villains and tense moments are presented, you will see this pair of walls wall with Naruto and Sasuke facing each other – and it’s another popular photo spot. Moving forward, you can choose to follow either Naruto or Sasuke first to trace their separate ways as they went on different paths.

You can find throughout the gallery, 5 unique reinterpretations of iconic scenes from the Naruto anime. These are collaborations with animators such as Ai Nina, Kohei Kadowaki, Kosuke Sugimoto, Kota Morie and que. Over at the Naruto’s path area, you can watch a very emotive animated short about Naruto and his godfather, Jiraiya.

Then walk over to discover Sasuke’s dark and tumultuous path.

Both sides connect into a dramatic wall marking the start of the Fourth Great Ninja War, with banners of the Five Kage (Leader of Ninja Village) floating above.

The next room brings you right into events leading around the Fourth Great Ninja War, and the Rebirth of Ten Tails, the Tailed Beast incarnation of the God Tree.

There’s a lot of details to take in, but fortunately everything is nicely presented with attractive stills and videos – there’s even a timeline infographic.

Expect to spend more time in this room given that there’s a lot of plot details condensed into a single space – there’s even a wall about the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

After surviving all that intense drama, the path leads you through emotional moments in the series.

You then walk into the merchandise store – but turn left right away to join the line for Naruto’s Last Battle with Sasuke.

Have a seat and enjoy an exciting show bringing you through epic moments between Naruto and Sasuke, as the action surrounds you in this theatre.

Naruto: The Gallery Exhibition Catalogue is a book with over 150 pages – filled with photographs of the original exhibition in AKIBA SQUARE, Japan. It also has stills and artworks featured in Naruto: The Gallery. Take note that this book is entirely in Japanese.

Naruto: The Gallery Café at Universal Studios Singapore

The ninjas have taken over KT’s Grill at Universal Studios Singapore, setting up Naruto: The Gallery Café!

The prices start from S$17 for main dishes (drinks separate), S$12 for kids set meals.

Get Naruto’s favourite Ichiraku Ramen, in original and mala soup options for S$22.

Other mains are priced at S$17 include Sakura Blossom Burger (fish or beef), Sasuke Sharingan Curry Rice*, and a Naruto Bento*.

Side dishes include this Naruto Fries at S$6, which would be great for photos before eating!

Other Ninja dishes, priced at S$8, include Tenten Dumplings*, Kakashi Fresh Vegetable Salad, and Sasuke Fireball Meatballs.

Quench your thirst with Ninja Punch – named after Team 7’s attacks! Available in 4 flavours at S$10 each: Sakura Blossom Impact, Kakashi Shiden, Naruto Rasenshuriken, and Sasuke Chidori.

As for the actual restaurant – it pretty much still feels like KT’s Grill, with Naruto artwork on the walls and some decorations to link it to the Ichiraku Ramen restaurant.
