Jurassic World: The Experience in Singapore – Review
From 29 May 2025, discover a new Jurassic World at Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest. Produced by NEON and presented in collaboration with Universal Live Entertainment, Singapore’s Jurassic World: The Experience will integrate signature elements from the Jurassic World film franchise, promising a unique and immersive adventure in the iconic attraction. It’s also just in time for the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth film that will be released in July 2025.
Similar to Avatar: The Experience, this combines Cloud Forest’s distinctive elements with dinosaur sculptures and animatronics, along with other interactive experiences around the facility. Perhaps this overlay is more enjoyable as this franchise and its universe is more “developed” and grounded (though still fiction), as compared to Avatar which is science fiction set on alien fantasy worlds. Plus dinosaurs are widely endearing.
A typical adventure will take about an hour or more – and beyond bringing you through the ‘classic’ Cloud Forest exhibits, the experience is now made further more exciting, with life-sized dinosaurs and animatronics. The dinosaur meet and greets (which is already a popular thing at Universal Studios theme parks) now take place in far more comfortable environments, and there is also something very exciting when iconic melodies from the Jurassic World films’ soundtracks emerging as you step into new spaces.
If you visit the Cloud Forest around 6-7PM and stay till dark, you’ll be able to catch both the “Day” and “Night” version of the Experience. Unlike Avatar, I think Jurassic World: The Experience is best viewed in the day. The lighting design will spotlight the dinosaurs more dramatically at night, but may make it challenging to read the panels which are rarely lit. It may also be harder to take photos with some of the dinosaurs.
In short, I’ll say it’s definitely a must-visit if you love dinosaurs. Unfortunately if you are not a fan, be prepared for the crowds of epic proportions throughout the event’s duration.
Photos taken during a closed session. Special Thanks to Gardens by the Bay for inviting me to the media preview.

Photo Tour: Jurassic World: The Experience in Singapore
Jurassic World: The Experience is a thematic overlay across most parts of the Cloud Forest, as this new map shows. A full walkthrough of the attraction would take about 60 minutes.
The pair of Brachiosaurus enhances the already iconic view of the Cloud Forest waterfall. Now officially known as the Brachiosaurus Falls, you can marvel at these tall dinosaur sculptures (nearly 3 storeys high!) as you ponder the botantical world where dinosaurs roamed.
Ferns might be considered by some to be decorative plants today, but they are among the oldest on Earth. The lineage started as early as over 350 million years ago, and were flourishing in the Jurassic age. When the dinosaurs fell, ferns reclaimed the Earth.
At night, the waterfalls glow, creating a serene view.
Iconic soundtrack from the film series filter through the crashing waters of the falls as you walk by them.
Small dinosaurs start to emerge from the foliage – these are the Compsognathus (Compy), and you can find them throughout your journey around Cloud Forest.
The next area, Petting Zoo will be an exciting for all. Come and meet baby dinosaurs up-close, and learn more about them from the park rangers!
After leaving the Petting Zoo, you can pick left to wander into the harrowing Tyrannosaurus-Rex Breakout, or right to cross the bridge and view the Aviary. Backtracking is unavoidable, but I’d suggest keeping left first, because the T-Rex zone naturally leads to another area later.
The most ferocious dinosaur has burst through the security fences. Emerging from cycads (palm tree-like plants), the Tyrannosaurus-Rex is a gigantic animatronic, and puts on a show you won’t want to miss. It’s even more atmospheric at night!
Leaving the apex predator behind, a calm path forward emerges. In Evolution Walk, you can discover the evolution of plants from beyond the Jurassic age.
This showcase is exclusive to Gardens by the Bay, and includes 3D recreations of extinct plants, blended together with the greenery that exists today.
At this point, you’ll want to turn right to head onto the bridge again.
A tense showdown is happening on the side of the Cloud Forest mountain. The Aviary scene features Pteranodons hovering over a pair of Velociraptors.
Continuing on again, you will find the Stiggy Truck crashed in the forest. A curious Stygimoloch peeks out from time to time.
Another gigantic dinosaur emerges from the lush foliage – it is another Brachiosaurus, but this time, you are much closer! It’s also stunning to view this exhibit from this angle.
From this point onwards, you’ll need to take the lifts to The Lost World, the highest level of Cloud Forest for the Prehistoric Grove, which offers a short musical break from harrowing dinosaur encounters.
As you make your way down to Level 4, you can walk through the iconic Jurassic World Park Gates and enjoy a higher view of what you’ve experienced at ground level, such as this view of the Brachiosaurus, and another wide view of the Aviary scene.
After enjoying these breathtaking vistas, your journey takes a sudden turn as you descend into Dilophosaurus Ambush – a corridor filled with fallen boxes and aggressive dinosaurs that might be spitting venom. Beware!
As you turn away from the and delve deeper into the facility, you’ll find the muzzled raptors – under control and safe to observe closely.
One distinctive raptor of the pack is missing – Blue! You’ll get to complete your adventure with an opportunity to interact and take photos with Blue the Velociraptor!
As Blue returns to her paddock, you make your way through a few more undisturbed gardens in Cloud Forest. A group of Compys bid you farewell at the exit.
Complete your journey with a few souvenirs from the shop, including a few items unique to Jurassic World: The Experience.
