SingaPop! 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture Review

What makes us uniquely Singaporean? Find out when you visit the SingaPop: 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture exhibition, a special SG60 adventure running from 2 August to 28 December 2025 at the ArtScience Museum in Marina Bay Sands Singapore. This vibrant new showcase is an immersive journey into the heart of Singapore’s cultural identity, celebrating the shared experiences, trends, and iconic moments that have defined Singaporeans over the past 60 years.

SingaPop 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture 1 Exhibition Entrance

Offering numerous photo opportunities and interactive elements, including engaging games in the SingaMakan zone, SingaPop promises a highly entertaining and immersive experience – you’d likely spend just over an hour exploring around. I’d say that the experience felt like visiting a theme park about Singapore’s pop culture, I mean, they’ve already called it RojakLand, and the main area of the exhibition resembles the castle hub of Disneyland.

A standout feature of the exhibition is its creative direction by the legendary Dick Lee, which has resulted in a strong visual aesthetic and a captivating soundscape. The music around the exhibition, in particular, is a highlight, with iconic local song motifs uniquely re-mixed and blended together – an auditory experience akin to a rojak.
