GameStart, the gaming event of the region, returns with stronger line-up and more programmes and activities. Here are some highlights:
PlayStation
Once you step in, turn right and you’ll see PlayStation’s massive demo area, where you can try your hand at some new Playstation VR titles.
Some of the games available for play here are: Bravo Team, Farpoint, No Heroes Allowed VR, Stifled, Dissidia Final Fantasy, FIFA18, Gran Turismo SPORT. Play a few of these demos and fill up a survey to redeem freebies!
Bandai Namco
Over at Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s booth: Dragonball Fighter Z, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet and Code Vein are being shown.
Games, Gamers, Gaming
Show your support for up and rising local indie gaming developers at the International Game Developers Association of Singapore (IGDA) Singapore booth.
Shadowverse is part of the SEA Mobile Major E-Sports Tournament – you can try playing the game here, and then watch the pros do it.
Tucked at the corner of the hall is the SEA Major, where much of this year’s excitement will take place.
GameStart’s Founders Base is where you can meet more indie developers and startups.
Check out Arduboy‘s booth to learn more (or even buy) about their micro 8-bit game platform and devices.
GameStart Shoppin’
After playing some game demos and experiencing the excitement of E-Sports tournaments, head to Doujin Market and discover a world of talented artists plying their trade.

Rachta Lin has a huge booth this year showcasing her amazing illustrations.
Kinetiquettes‘ works are jawdropping as always.
Get kitted with some gamer tees at the Xmashed Gear booth. Some designs are on sale at great prices!

The cyberpunk-themed The Drinkery is a new dining area for visitors to fuel up during their stay at the convention.
GameStart Tabletop
There’s more to games than videogames. New to this year is an entire GameStart TableTop area dedicated to well, ‘analog’ gaming.
For the rest of us, we can stand from afar and marvel at this incredible hobby.
