Step into Close-Act Theatre‘s fantasy world in our photo tour of GLOBE performed at Singapore Night Festival 2017!
Presented by Close-Act Theatre, GLOBE is a street theatrical show taking place at the Cathay Green area of Bras Basah.Bugis. This 45-minute show, without much (or any) comprehensible lines, is completely open to the audience’s interpretation.
While the sphere led us into a fantasy world, the experience melded with the usual Singaporean sights along the periphery – new and old buildings at the end of Orchard Road, even the iconic ERP gantry within sight.
The roving performers were the highlight of the show. They kept the audience surprised, especially with the use of physical effects like as flares – this will delight or even startle some viewers.
Enjoy the photos and make a trip down to experience the magic of GLOBE yourself. Only a few shows left this weekend – details below!
If you want to see the roving performers up-close, stand in front of the sphere, and near the boards on the grass. Performers will move on the boards throughout the show.
