The Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) is back again with an exciting line-up of exhibitors and visiting personalities from the international pop culture scene.
Taking place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center, STGCC brings together pop culture from East and West to Singapore, showcasing some 240 exhibitors and 180 artists from all around the world. It’s basically a big show for fans of toys, films, comics and to shop – and if you’re lucky, meet the people behind the creative!
In this entry, we’ve got photos from Day One. Children 12 years and below enjoy free admission on 13 September!
Right at the start, the Hot Toys booth is the hottest, with Star Wars and Marvel themed displays. There’s a magnificent TIE Fighter!
Many displays with Egg Attack figurines at Beast Kingdom.
Cool, huh.
The 1:1 stuff are popular selfie spots.

Anyway, We are really not experts in collecting toys, so do check out Geek Culture’s guide to the must-haves!

Tee Turtle had a lot of cute T-shirts and prints inspired by pop culture. $35 each!
Perhaps the most popular place to take selfies: Hulkbuster vs Hulk (Hot Toys)
The Tokidoki booth may not have long winding lines, but it was consistently crowded. Simone Legno, the creator, is at STGCC too.
